Kidanni Deluxe Savannah View Studio?

Im jealous! I gotta wait til June to have a studio sav view this time. I stayed here in Oct for a week and we were in a 1 bedroom savannah view and it was amazing. I have nothing at all negative to say. The pool at kidani was gorgeous, the gym was nice as well. Luved the CMs, all eager to help and quick to say "jambo". on the dis resort forum theres the AKL/AKV lovers thread with tons of pics.... Any other questions Id be glad to help. :goodvibes

We're going in July for the first time .My wife is soo excited and i'm the Dizneynut!!!

We haven't had a studio savannah view in Kidani, but I've had a 2 and a 1 bedroom stay there and thought the resort was wonderful! We have yet to try Saana. I do prefer CS, the Mara at Jambo house, but I think the programs and CM's at both buildings are wonderful!

Sorry can't help with pictures but excited because we are staying there for the 1st time in April. I think there are some videos on you tube or you could check allears.net

Note that "Deluxe" is something DVC calls all its rooms except the small number of small value rooms at AKV. One day a couple years ago they were not "deluxe" and the next day we awoke in the morning and they were.

Highly recommend you put in a request for a room close to the lobby. That will give you Sunset savanna view which has giraffes, you will be near a feeding area for the animals, and you will be near the restaurant, store, pool, bus stations, and community hall.

Though the request is not guaranteed you should make it and hope you get it because otherwise you can end up far from the lobby and far from lobby at Kidani is the true measure of the African Safari theme of the resort -- you essentially have to walk further than the length of a very large African savanna. I am a frequent business traveler and I have nerver seen any other single building hotel like structure in the nation that has a walk from lobby to room as long as the one at Kidani to those rooms which are far from the lobby.

It is very easy to find pictures by just going to Google images and search for "kidani disney"

I tried to pull up my pics from the room but no luck!:headache:

My husband and I stayed at Kidani villiage in a studio this past November and loved it!

It is plenty spacious for 2 with a verandah, small dining table, couch, armoir with tv and dvd player, dresser, queen bed, microwave, coffee pot with a few dishes, double sink and bathroom. The view is very enjoyable and it seems there is a LOT to do there. We didn't really get a chance to check out everything because we ended up catching up on un-interrupted sleep which was a special treat in itself!:goodvibes

We also booked a behind the scenes Animal Kingdom trip called "Behind the scenes Safari". I heard there is one available right at the lodge, too.

Enjoy your trip!:thumbsup2
