We are going in May, staying in a studio, and I wanted to find out about the little kitchenette. I'm wondering if the plates and coffee cups are disposable or washable? Also, is the coffeemaker a small 4 cup one or a full sized one? Thanks!!

Coffee cups are ceramic. Plates and utensils are disposible. Not sure about the coffee pot, I don't drink coffee.

All DVC rooms have a full size (10-12 cup) Mr Coffee brand brewer that take the basket (flat bottom) style filter.

Yes. I'm not sure about the regular plates, bowls. I do know they will bring wine glasses on request to the studios. We often stay in studios -- just DH and I -- and I bring some Gladware or Ziplock containers for leftovers, and to use for bowls.

When my husband and I stay in a studio, I pack 2 non breakable dishes, 2 knives, forks, spoons and a disposable plastic cutting board. They don't take up much room in the suitcase.

There will be a starter pack or two off coffee in the room. The coffee in the starter pack is in a filter pack. If you request more from housekeeping there is a $6 charge.
