During my first stay to Disney World, I was privileged enough to stay at Kidani Village in AKL with a great view of the animals. If you love animals, or if you have any kids that do, this is a great place to stay. Even though I am 19, I turned into a little kid when I saw all the animals. Sitting on the balcony was one of my favorite things to do, morning or night.
Although I did not get to do it, the day we got there we were told there is a tour you can take around the hotel with a guide to see all the animals. They even have special glasses for night vision!
The thatched roofs and many decorations inside truly made me feel like I was in Africa! Also, if you're a fan of the Lion King (it's my favorite movie), you'll love the decorations.
This is the master bathroom, which was HUGE! The tub is big enough to fall asleep in with a Lion King sunset to watch.
This is our living room. If you look at the chairs you can see lions on them.
And of course little Disney magic from the Mousekeepers (yummy cake balls)!

) are Zebra Domes. One of the best desserts in all of WDW! I love that we are able to buy them at the Mara.
