For a 2 bedroom savanna view at Kidani, what requests do I want to make?

Near the lobby? A certain savannah view?

We haven't stayed at Kidani, only jambo, so I'm curious what the preferred rooms/areas are.

Any suggestions?

I'd say ask for near the lobby. The resort is LOOONNNGGG.. you can only appreciate the size when you get there. I personally wouldn't want to be at the ends of the resort.

I would agree that "close to the lobby" is a good request.

Also, indicate what level category you want to be on (low levels or upper levels). I've requested low levels for all my stays and have been on floors 2 and 3. (2nd floor is the lobby level). The lower you are, the closer you'll be to the animals. However, I've also been in rooms on floors 4 and 5, and the views are still pretty good.

Enjoy!

We had 7232 in Feb and were very happy. It wasn't right next to the lobby, but it was only half way around and was on the lowest floor with a great view of the sunset savannah.
I have a feeling that the rooms closest to the lobby are studios and 1 bedrooms, because it seems the doors are closer together nearer the lobby - I'm sure there's someplace to check this though.
Keep in mind that breakfast for the animals is from around 8 am to 10:30 am - they bring them into the barn for this so that each animal can get what it needs and they are then happy to retun to the barn when called in case the staff need to get hold of them for medical or other reasons.
So, don't go in expecting to have your morning coffee with the animals - this won't happen, iut the rest of the time it's pretty awesome to look out your window and see giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, etc!

Thanks for all the suggestions! I didn't even know there were several floors. lol

I requested close to lobby/pool, lower floor, sunset savannah. I got a room at the end of the first "bead" next to the Lobby, so it was a relatively short walk to both the lobby and the pool and we were on the 3rd floor. They had originally assigned us to a 2nd floor room but it wasn't ready when we arrived, so they asked if we wanted to be moved up one floor to a room that was ready and it was wonderful.

We stayed at AKV this past December (had previously been at AKL). We were very impressed with the room size (and not to mention the fantastic master bath! :goodvibes). However, we were about half way or more around from the lobby, so we had a very long walk. Not fun. It was too cold for the pool, but I believe we were fairly close to it. The lack of CS dining on site was a bit inconvenient, as was the fact that the pool seemed to be in the parking lot, instead of inside the resort.

Can anyone that has stayed at both locations give any insight to which resort you would recomend? We are not sure yet if we will be on the DDP or not. We have 2 young kids (5 and 3).

Is it rude or frowned upon to call multiple times to make request? I booked a studio savanna view at Kidani and added dinning then called a few weeks later to request the sunset savanna and canceled the dinning. Is it too much for me to call again now and also request a lower floor near the lobby? I have gotten a lot of info from these forums, but feel bad calling MS too many times for the same reservation.
