Does anyone know if there is a bus stop close to the Uzima pool? I'd like to request a room near the pool, but also want to be close to transportation as well.

Thanks!

Uzima pool is at Jambo, not Kidani. There is just one bus stop for Jambo and one for Kidani.

At Kidani, both the pool and the bus stop are near the lobby. It is quite a distance to the farthest rooms, so if you want to be close to both, request near the lobby.

If you want to be near the bus stop of either building then you want to be near the lobby (because you go out the front door to get to the bus stop). If your room is anywhere near the lobby of either building, you will also be close to where you can access to the pool.

If you get a "standard" view room at Jambo, you will be around the pool because all of those face the pool. There are standard views that face the Kidani pool but pool view is not guaranteed and you can get road/parking lot. Moreover, not all of the pool view rooms at Kidani are open yet (probably in September).

Really? I thought Uzima is the new pool that was built for Kidani. What is the name of the Kidani pool then?

I requested to be near the pool for my 4 year old. Now I just found out that my handicapped mother will be with us. She walks with a walker, so she can't walk long distances, so I was hoping that the bus and pool wouldn't be too far for her. Is there a building that you might recommend based on your experience and my situation?

Thanks!!!

There is only one building at Kidani Village. And it's a long and winding building. There is only one bus stop at KV and the pool is across the parking lot from KV building. She'll be walking long distances to the bus and to the pool no matter where your villa is. You may want to rent a wheelchair for her from an outside vendor.

Is she going to the theme parks? She'll be doing a lot of walking there, too.

Thanks. She doubt she be going to the parks. She did that with us a couple of years ago, so I think she's done with that activity. :) I'd like her to be able to have that option, though, and in that case, we will definitely need a wheelchair. So I guess it's just more important for us to be close to the pool. I discovered that the Kidani pool is called Samwati (sp?).

Kidani's pool is called the Samawati Springs Pool. It is located in front of the north wing (to the left of the lobby as you face the main entrance) in front of beads 2, 3 and 4. The bus stop is in front of the south wing, in front of beads 2 and 3. There is a Kidani resort map here.

To give you some idea of the scale of Kidani Village, it took me 5 minutes to walk from the lobby to the end of the south wing and I was walking at a brisk pace!
