Kidani or Jambo? There is 4 of us. My 2 boys who refuse to sleep together and my husband and I. My boys are 9 and 15. One bedroom savanna view for 2 nights before switching to the poly. I really want to try this resort and so do the boys! Please tell me which one is better? better Pools? better savanna views? Any info would be greatly appreciated!!!

I don't know about one bedroom suites, not even sure Jambo has them. If you want a 1 bdrm prop Kidani would be best choice. The Regular Jambo rooms have the option of bunk beds and a queen bed. We loved our Arusha Savana view room.
No mater which you stay in, you can go to either pool. It's not a long walk thru parking lots. Or you can ask CM at door for a shuttle.

Sorry We are DVC so It would be a DVC room. I thought you couldn't go to Kidani unless you were staying there? Maybe Jambo you can? Ive never stayed there so I wasnt sure. Hows the transportation?

Anyone staying in either building can use both pools.

We have found it to be good. No better or worse than any other WDW resort.

We prefer Jambo. It's just so much livelier! We stayed in a one bedroom there and really enjoyed it! They have shuttles between Jambo and Kidani so you can go back and forth and yes, you can use the amenities/pools at both Kidani and Jambo.

If you're DVC, wanting a one bdrm, I'd probably lean towards Kidani. Try to compare pics, maybe Allears.net has some under Accomodations and a description of the room.

Both resorts share ammenities. And it's a short walk between the 2 resorts. But they do offer a shuttle. We found it unnecessary.

Transportation has been good during my stays. Jambo and Kidani share busses, Kidani gets first pickup except for Disney Springs bus stops at Jambp first.

I just went on Allears and they show a video of the Jambo 1 bdrm. It seems in Jambo they have 2 types of 1Bdrm. Value doesn't have sleeper chair. The deluxe 1 bdrm has sleeper chair and sofa pull outs in living room. I only see 1 bathroom.
Kidani was built as villas, and it seems all have 2 bathrooms and both types of pullouts in living room.

Stayed at both, prefer Jambo. It just has a more lively fun atmosphere. The lobby is grand with amazing views.

Does the shuttle between Kadani and Jambo accommodate an ECV (scooter)?
No, it's just a ten passenger van. Not HCAccessible. It's a ten minute walk between JH and KV.

I'd go with the Kidani one bedroom for the extra bathroom. Plus the master bathroom will have the separate shower and tub. Jambo House will have the combination shower and tub, not separate. You'll have the twin sized sleeper chair at either location (plus the queen sized sleeper sofa).

I prefer kidani over Jambo. We like having the extra bathroom, and I like the Master bath better at Kidani. We prefer more quieter at our resort after being in parks all day. We go to Jambo and eat and shop then head over to Kidani and relax.

Both resorts will have the sleeper chair and couch. The value 1 bedrooms will not have the sleeper chair, but you indicated savannah view so I am assuming you are not booked in the value category.

We have only stayed at Jambo (and for one night lol), but we would pick this one again. We loved the lobby and we like that Boma (and I believe Jiko and the Mara as well) is in the same building for breakfast. Even though we did not get a savannah view, we still had a decent view of it which was a nice surprise. We spent the evening at the Jambo pool, but did end up walking to the Kidani pool the next day just because I wanted to see if they had better lunch options, but overall both pool were similar. We had two std rooms, so the number of bathrooms or quality of them was N/A for us.
