Any idea how much undeclared inventory there is at AKV?

The following information is compiled from records filed by DVD with the Orange County Comptroller:

Kidani Village - The last Declaration of Units was done on April 15, 2010.

Declared: 175 two-bedroom Villas; 8 Grand Villas; 3,139,790 points
Undeclared: 162 two-bedroom Villas; 8 Grand Villas; 2,455,610 points

Jambo House - 100% of Jambo House has been declared for the DVC Membership.

Declared: 46 Dedicated Studios; 82 two-bedroom Villas; 6 Grand Villas; 1,804,790 points

As you probably know, Kidani Village and Jambo House are separate booking categories at AKV, but DVC members have equal access to accommodations at either location.

So about 1/3 of all AKV points are still undeclared. Some portion of those already declared are still unsold (that is what they are selling now). As wdrl has reported on other posts for new sales from DVD, BLV has been the runaway leader in monthly sales for some time and AKV has been slow trailing SSR. AKV has now been on sale for four years and it looks like it will be on sale for at least another three although sale pace could increase as economy recovers and BLT sells out, leaving only AKV and SSR (THV) as the new resorts retail purchasers can still buy at WDW mbefore another is built.

This indicates to me that the next DVC resort is not going to be Fort Wilderness/River Country area for which some drawings exist because that would be like adding another AKV. If Disney wants DVD to keep generating the large income it has been, it will be looking to build another next to a park resort likely MK.
