Oh my gosh, how will I ever choose?
They both look amazing, but I'm the only one in my family who would eat either one.

Decide when you arrive if you're in the mood for savory or sweet- I found them to be at opposite ends of the spectrum, in that respect. The Tonga toast is coated in sugar, every bite has a sugary crunch- with soft banana in the center ( and we all know how bananas & strawberries compliment one another).

The pancakes were nutty- and macadamias are the fattiest nut there is, so the nuts are a soft crunchy- with the pineapple, slightly tart but sweet topping, and then that butter....Oh...the macadamia nut butter.....
Please....a moment of silence and respect for macadamia nut butter.
The butter puts it over the top. But it really is a savory breakfast, compared with that Tonga Toast (I don't use a whole lot of syrup, so that's part of it, too). Not to confuse you, but they had other pretty breakfast offerings there- if you love fruit, the table next to us had a pineapple brimming with fruit salad that didn't look too shabby!
I WAS THERE 7 NIGHTS !!! You are right it is never long enuff but the FAMILY was VERY glad to have me back !!!!
I have no doubt they were- you are a gem!
He will be a week shy of 17 when we leave for the May trip. We had originally planned to leave him home with a neighbor checking in. Now I'm not so sure. He still has a driving curfew (state law), but I don't particularly trust him to abide by it. We are traveling sunday - friday so we are only away during school nights. But at his age schools nights don't mean that much. It's tough. I can't wait till he gets through the next year and a half and gets in college. Every day my DH and I say...."Let's just get him to 18".
speaking of PUKE FEST, My younger DS (15) was out for the count with a stomach bug yesterday. I felt so bad for him. And he stills wants me to hold his hand. I am just keeping my fingers crossed that I don't get it. YIKES!
I fully expect to be saying the same in a few years myself- "Let's just get him to 18"

It's hard!! All of it!! But obviously worth it.
That is so sweet he wants you to hold his hand!

I was too busy being the cleaning crew last night to hold hands with anyone, LOL! Everyone is sleepy today- it was a very looooooooong night. Cross your fingers they are up for skiing tomorrow... they will be so sad if they can't go. And I have not gotten it.....knock wood for both you AND me!!
