Kidani Dreams - An April 6-15 PTR -Name Tags!!-Updated 3/28

Hi... I'm embarassed to admit I haven't read the whole PTR (just the first and last pages), but I wanted to share our home-made tee shirts. They were so fun to make, we wore them on our first Disney cruise (June 2011) and they are being recycled for this next cruise (with you!) I loved being able to spot my family/friends across a crowd during sail-away!

That's DH (left), DD, my mom, and me. This cruise it's just DH, DD and me. Look for our tie-dye selves at the DIS meet!

I found the how-to on these boards, of course.

I also made this one, with a standard light tee shirt transfer... I made my mom wear it to MK on her birthday!

and one more, custom jammies for DD!

Looking forward to meeting you and your family!

~Melissa, Tim & Trinity

Hi Melissa !!! I have read your TR !! I remember those shirts !! Love them !! So far I have stuck with just the iron on stuff. I am not sure I have the patience for the tie dye. Yours turned out great though.

Cute tags!!!!

Thanks Kathy !!

ok, finally caught up on the whole PTR... I feel much more official now!

We'll be at Epcot on Saturday too, we have dinner reservations at the buffet in Germany. I lived in Germany as a kid (yes I'm an Army brat) and I LOVE German food!

I'm sure we'll just bump into you at Epcot and say "hi" (ha!)... otherwise we'll see you on board the Dream... Vista Cafe, 3pm! :coffee:

Sunday we're doing Hollywood Studios... my DD is a total Pixar fanatic - she would rather watch any of the Toy Story movies, Cars 2, Mater's Tall Tales, or Monster's Inc any day over Rapunzel or Beauty and the Beast. Highly irregular for a 5 year old girl, but whatever... anyway DH & I haven't been to HS since she was 6 months old, so I'm sure it's changed a ton!

Monday is Magic Kingdom... I just like to save that park for last. It's just classic.

And of course Tuesday... anchors away! pirate:

Yay !! Thanks for reading !! I would love it if you would say hello to us at Epcot !! And if we don't see each other there, definitely at the Vista Cafe. I am so excited to meet everyone !!

I don't blame her for being a Pixar fanatic. What is not to love about those movies !! We love them, too !!

I can't believe how many crafts projects you've done for your cruise!! It practically takes all of my creative energy to make one pin! You're very impressive with all of your various endeavors! :thumbsup2

Yay 8 days left!!!!!!!!! :cool1::cool1::cool1:

Yes, I am crafty. I used to have time to quilt and I have made some pretty awesome ones. I used to stay home when the kids were little. But now that I am back at work, I don't have the time any more. Plus, I have a pretty obsessive Disney habit that takes up lots of my spare time now. :rotfl: Thanks for the props, though. It has been fun !!

Happy Dance!

6 more hours (today) plus 8 more hours (tomorrow) of work :surfweb:

Pedi on Thursday... make me feel like a princes :wizard:

I can't wait!

Hey Melissa !! I wish I had time to get a pedi. Don't look at my feet, OK ?? Just 4 more hours of work today and 8 more tomorrow !! OMG !!!

I CANT WAIT !!!!

All packed and ready to go !! I am off to work soon and I am sure this day will DRAG on. We plan on getting to be early and then waking up and heading out around 3 AM. So I will see you all when I get back !!

I have to agree about driving to MK...it's a nightmare! First you have to drive to TTC. Park your car. Wait for a tram. Then take the tram to the Monorail or Boat Launch. Wait some more. Finally get on Monorail. Then get to MK.

If you take the bus, it leaves you right in front! No hassle.

Heck to the yeah. You hit it exactly. Getting there is a pain but my issue is more with the getting back to the resort at night. That is an absolute nightmare. It takes at least an hour if you drive. It can take that long on the bus, but more often than not, we'll be back in less time.

Well .... when you put it that way ..... we have always driven to the parks since we always gave our car with us. Except for when we stayed at WL and Boardwalk. We might try the bus this time. You just hear so many people moaning about the bus. I wonder how late the busses run after AK closes. We have a 7pm ressie at Yak and Yeti and the park closes at 8 that day .....

So I'm a bit late replying to the latest update, but I've been out of town. ;)
The busses run an hour and half after park close. Honestly, I'd probably just drive to AK depending on how tired y'all are. But to MK...definitely take the bus. I'll drive to most of the other parks, as it is quicker, but MK..bus, bus, bus. You just gotta be out at the bus stop early for RD, but hey, you gotta leave the resort early to deal with the multi transport situation.

You day by day countdown made me smile. I wish I could be awake enough to drive in the early a.m. like that. Being in the car so long with the sun beating down through the windows really tires a person.

Can't wait to hear about hour adventrue on the high seas when you get back!

We are leaving right now !! Woo Hoo !! See y'all on the flip side !!
