Hello!!!!!!!!!!!!

I signed up for the Princess 5k a few weeks ago with Team Save The Children, so that of course means heading to the World for a week, right? I would never just go for a short trip?! At first I was, ok I will have to take my DD because her Dad has to work, and I figured, cool, girls trip (we usually do Disney as family, since we co-parent really well).

After talking to him, we decided that nope, Momma gets some time off! I haven't been without the kiddo in YEARS!!! And don't get me wrong, I love my kiddo, I do, but sometimes, Momma needs a break!

So what was going to be a short trip down, became a week!!! So excited!!!

I started off planning for myself, then reached out to a friend to see if he wanted to join me, because a solo trip is great, but that's a lot of selfies.

I am still waiting for a confirmation if he's coming which is SOOOOO hard because 60 day window has opened and fast passes!!!! But, he's never been to Disney!

So I'm super excited to introduce him to Disney, but at the same time, I'm not "me" at Disney, I like to think I'm a better version of me, but my type A personality peeks out and scared people some times.

(I have no idea how long a PTR Intro should be, I lurk here all the time, but rarely post, so I'm just gonna keep spewing the words)

So I am torn between planning for me entirely and adding him later, but he's a huge Star Wars fan, and I'm more whatever, where are the princesses and mickey and rides! I wasn't even thinking about going to Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom, but now they are in my plan, but that will be a different post.

I still haven't gotten a firm yes from my friend (F going forward), so I have Fast Passes for myself and am hoping that I will be able to copy those for him when I add him to my room.

I know that if F comes he will want to do Mission Space, which I won't go on, but will wait for him, I will swap a FP for him for that if at all possible.

I am going back and forth on lunch, I was originally planning for a resort break in the afternoon and then heading back to Epcot at 430 and then grab dinner someplace in World Showcase, but I think at this point this is our only Epcot day. But I/we will have also spent the previous day in the car , and got up at 5 am to get to the resort and then the park for an 820am adr. I am so confused on this one.

I am working on my plan and I feel like I'm breaking all my own rules! I am working on park day 2 - Hollywood Studios, which I am not in love with, but the things we do for others . And the fact that I/we have the Deluxe Dining Plan, which is so much food, but I don't want to have to worry about having to worry about food. Usually I do the Dining Plan and fill in with QS OOP, but I didn't want to have to deal with that.

I know it's a waste to use the DXDP for a QS but I know that I will because it will make my life easier. And this way I can do a few signature ADRs without issue. Which I am super excited for.

I've been busy, doing training walks and work stuff and being a Mom stuff. Ya'know life.

I'm so ready to be packing for the World, but that will require purchasing luggage! Ha! Usually I will just use a tote or whatever but for a week, and only me! I'm springing for luggage, though I fully intend to use the baggage guys to get my stuff to the room unless my Preferred Room is super close! One can dream!

I loved going on my solo kids in 2012. I did end up missing my kids by the time I went home but still had a blast. I am so excited for you and can't wait to to read more. Great job on your first PTR by the way!!

Thanks! I know I am going to miss the kiddo, but still, it's going to be so nice! She is already asking me to facetime during Wishes, and when I meet anyone from Star Wars. We'll see. She wants me to meet KyloRen (SP?) but he freaks me out in youtube videos, I can't imagine meeting him face to face.

So last I left you, i have shared my first two park day plans, and next is my MK day. My favorite park ever. Like I could totally do a week of MK with no issue what so ever. And ride Dumbo everyday all day. Lol

Originally i planned to do RD MK on Tuesday then park hop to HS, but changed that so Wednesday is my mk day, and im wavering on it because if F is coming then i feel like I should consider his likes and the fact that he hasnt been before and not be all "PRINCESSESSSS!!!!!" All day. Also I am planning to that Friday and get all the princesses with my medal from the 5k.

I have a PPO ADR at BOG, so thats going to help. I really need to sit down and plan my MK day.

I fel like planning it that F isnt coming and he can just deal. Lol

I also need to work on my Disney Bounds, because i do that.

Omg F has bo idea what he is getting himsef int. Lol.

I really shouldn't post at nearly 3 am. But I can almost guarantee you that won't be the last time that happens.

So, I've been reading all the recent rundisney marathon trip reports, because trip reports.

And I was reading on that talked about the Wishes Desert Party. I love the little "gardens" to watch wishes from, and I love being on the tomorrowland side so that I can pop over to Buzz real quick afterwards because I love it. Ok so I am wondering if it's worth it? I want a really good spot so that I can film/video Wishes. I have a vlog/youtube channel and really want Wishes and OUAD footage for my channel.

And I am trying not to be whatever with F but I neeeeeddddd to know if he is coming sooner than later because if he's not I'm dropping my HS and AK days in favor of more epcot and MK time. Relationships are hard.

I found this super pretty baby pink fabric at JoAnns and I'm thinking that it would make a perfect skirt/dress to bound as Aurora my first park day. So I'm thinking:

Someone told me about the TouringPlans.com ADR tracker thing, so with that I snagged my much coveted Akershus ADR for my Epcot Day, so that changes those plans but totally worth it.

I had a chance at a BOG ADR but didn't hear my phone go off in time.

But that has confirmed my OOTD for my Epcot day, Aurora it is.

Still waiting to hear from F, which is beyond annoying I really want to know before 30 days out because FPs, but whatever. (Omg I'm nearly 40 I should not be dealing with this much stupid-ness, I need to woman up and ask for a confirmation. I'll let you know when that happens)

For Wednesday, my MK day, I have a PPO BOG ADR at 810am, and will do lunch at Kona at 12:45 before heading back to the resort for a break (aka nap, I'm grown, I take naps). I don't have a dinner adr, which I am thinking about doing CHH unless I get a BOG or CRT. It's like I'm talking in code. Ha!

So it's been a hot minute since I updated and I've been moving and changing things left and right. Of course.
So F is "going" but still needs the time approved off work because a new company took over. Whatever. I hope he comes but if not, I'm good with a solo trip too.

I used the TripReports ADR finder and snagged a BOG Lunch AND Dinner! So currently for my MK day, I have a BOG PPO breakfast, lunch and dinner. I am currently debating keeping the Breakfast and dropping the lunch, or dropping both the breakfast and lunch. Ugg my MK day is killing me. It's the hardest thing ever! And this new park opening is looking like it will throw a mini wrench in my "typical" MK morning.

One month from today I will be on my way home.
I pulled together my plan for each day. I'd still like a Crystal Palace ADR and am thinking about a Whispering Canyon ADR but don't know where to put it.
The other annoying thing is the fact that I need an ECV because of my fibromyalgia and if I want to be able to complete the 5k I really have to. I just don't want to. So I plan to park it in what ever are we are going to be touring and then move it to the next area. I had a semi-genius idea for at Epcot, drive around World Showcase, park near the boat launch, tour my way back to the boat, then take the boat back to my ECV. Thoughts? My only concern is the boat not running. OR take the boat back to the beginning of the world showcase and tour back to my ecv.

According to the count down app (I just downloaded) I leave for Disney in 20 days and 3 hours. I plan to leave around 3 or 4 am, drive to Daytona so I can get there super early, sleep and get up super early the next day to go to Epcot!

I did a *big* training walk/run on Thursday and my knee started bothering me towards the end of the walk, and my road is super hilly, and there are goats, and ponies and horses. Which is fun, but stinky. Then the next day I went to the gym to use the bike to help my endurance, without bothering my feet (nerve damage) and after 6 miles my knee was clicking? Is that a thing? So I'm going to get some KT tape, which I also read on their website that it might help with my nerve pain in my feet which would be lovely.

And the kiddo (DD, age 11) as begged and been good (I homeschool, so good is needed since I'm with her 24/7 - thus the need for the kid - free vacay) so, when I take her to the beach to visit my parent who spring in New Smyrna Beach, that I will book 1 night at Pop, 1 Park day and take her to Disney Springs. I am waiting on the April crowd calendar from Easywdw to figure out when, but some dates are set since my Sis who lived in Vancouver BC will be coming down, and my cousin and her family will be down a for a week, and her daughter is 13 and she and my DD get along great.

And, of course I've changed up my HS plans...

Counting Down!
I'm so stinking excited
I finished my outfit/costume for the Princess 5k

And my Magic Band arrived so I pulled out last years so I could bling it out to find the best glue, because the last two years the bling was gone by the end of the week

So I've been wearing that - so far I like the Elmers Craft Glue (basically elmers version of the e6000 stuff) I just don't like the look of the hot glue. I love me some bling!

And F and I chatted last night, and he's pretty sure he can go, just verifying because at this point the $$ isn't refundable. I am excited that he's probably coming but if he can't I'm not bothered by it. lol.

I'm doing the 5k with Team Save The Children and so I've been fundraising for that and I'm still shy of my goal which is stressing me out, a lot. I have 7 more days to fund raise, so stinking stressful, I'm never doing that again! I love the idea of it, but I'm not good at asking people for money or donations.

I've also been working on my Disney bounds and have decided that my closest is not Disney Bound Friendly lol.

And F is coming!
So I am super excited but at the same time it killed my plans or at lease my FPs, so I spent the last 2 days working on that...I needed some serious Disney Magic!

And tragically I have no idea what I'm going to wear! Last year I did tshirts with characters on them for each day, so all my pics have me in those shirts. So of course I can't wear them this year. My goal this year is to do more disney bounds, ya'll the struggle is real.

I am leaving in 4 days!!


And I've packed nothing. I have my 5k costume, that I really am not in love with and fully see a few hours spent making a tutu and ears maybe.

Right now the weather is sitting at the low 80's for the week, which is about 25 degrees warmer than this week last year, I would much prefer the cooler temps, that is why I go in Feb, as I don't love the heat, so of course that is also what is holding me back on the packing.

I also added dinner at the Yachtsman, dropped a BOG (*gasp*) lunch ADR for Grand Floridian Cafe and the Akershus ADR in favor if Tutto Italia. On the DxDP I just couldn't see doing that many CS or that much BOG in one day!

And even though Rivers Of Light is running now, I do not have a FP for that, 1) I couldn't give up a FP for that, 2) I don't want to be in a park that late before the 5k and 3) I've seen the video and am not terribly impressed, but I also don't love AK. It just feels crowded to me, probably because of the narrow pathways.
