Kid Clubs Advice

I am a nut case! We are traveling to either the Poly or WL in July with my family of 17 ...8 Adults 9 kids and we are hoping to get a little adult time. Has anyone had any experiences with the kids clubs...especially the neverland club? I am not a big one about leaving my little ones with anyone (age 3 and 7) so your advice, comfort words of encouragement would be helpful. I just have a feeling that we will all want adult time without worrying that the kids will drown themsleves or get lost. Thanks

We used the Neverland Club at the end of August for our DS 5. He had a wonderful time and didn't want to leave when we picked him up! Also kept asking the rest of the trip if he could go back! They had lots of cool activities to keep him entertained - he played with toys, they had a dress up area, there was a movie playing, and computer/video games.

There was a whole process for checking him in and out that seemed secure to us. When we checked him in, he got to pick what he wanted for dinner. For us, it was a great way to spend an evening - we had some adult time in Magic Kingdom and he had a fun way to spend a few hours. We would bring him there again in a heartbeat!

We used the Neverland Club a couple of years back. DD loved it! They fed her, she did crafts, watched a movie, etc. She didnt want to leave!

The Kids Clubs are for ages 4-12, so that would leave the 3 year old(s) out unfortunately. Believe cost is currently $11/child/hour with a 2 hour minimum - that would really mount up for the number of kids you're talking about! Might want to check out posts on some of the child sitters who can come to the hotel (also not cheap however). Kids Night Out is one and there are a few others I think.....

Our 6 year old DD went to the Neverland club in August, she told us that it was wonderful and she wanted to go back again. They had an arcade, a plasma TV and all kinds of dress up clothes.
