Kid activities around Univeral??

We are heading to Hard Rock Hotel the first weekend in October for 3 nights. We plan on doing the parks and enjoying the pool but know that 4 days with an express pay will leave us plenty of time for other things. I know they have Dive In Movies some nights but I was wondering what other activities or fun things they have for kids at either the hotels or City Walk. We have a 7yr old daughter.

What restaurant do you recommend at either City Walk or the resorts that would be fun for a child. She has been to many restaurants and is well behaved - just looking for something a little different then the norm.

Also, we were planning on using the Kids Club one night at HRH for DH and I to have an adult night. Do they do planned activities with the kids or is a free for all babysitting service?

child care services has a fee. you should book that date when you arrive at the hotel.

HHN will be happening on the weekends during october.
studios should close at 5 and ioa at 6

each on site hotel has children activites planned.
call the hotel in advance for info on it.
i would list what mine did in the past but things could have changed.
i know the activities around the pool still is going on.

there are character dinners at the hotels on different nights of the week.
they are listed on the UO website under hotels.
