Does anyone know where they take you for lunch?

Is the lunch limited?

Do they take you on rides?

What was your overall impression of the tour? Would you do it again?

We had lunch at Columbia Harbor House. We ordered it before the tour begin and it was set up and waiting for us when we arrived. We road Jungle cruise and Haunted mansion. It was a different a Jungle cruise though. Instead of the regular spiel, the tour guide talked about the ride itself and other things about MK. We very much enjoyed the tour and I am planning to do it again when my niece is 18.

I loved it. We did it a couple of years ago, had lunch at CHH and like the previous poster we rode HM and JC. The backstage portions were fascinating. You get to see the area where the parade floats are stored which was marvelous; I'm hoping the next time I do it I'll get to see the FOF floats up close.

We're trying this in August! I'm pleased to hearing about the Jungle Cruise - so looking forward to it!

Just did it in May....with my 21 y/o dd and her bff. This was the third for me, second for dd and first for bff!! Other than it being hotter than the hinges of 'you know where' it was a great time. Our tour guide, Sarah, was incredible. I know a good deal about WDW, but even I learned some new stuff!! We rode JC and HM, then had lunch at Columbia Harbor House. We chose our food before the tour started, and it was all ready when we got there. Very nice, as usual.

I really hated this tour. I know it gets rave reviews, but I think it depends 100% on your tour guide. Mine made us "guess" at trivia in a condescending manner (she didn't really explain anything, we just had to guess,) and handed out stickers to whomever got it right. It was boring, insulting, and just plain bad. I lied and skipped out halfway through. It was truly awful.

DH and I did this tour in March and really enjoyed it! Same as pp's we rode HM and JC and ate at CHH. I do agree with eyehartdisney that it probably depends highly on your tour guide; ours was great, very knowledgeable and friendly. But I can totally see where having someone who is NOT friendly or interested in what they're doing could ruin the tour.
My favorite part was being "backstage" when the parade ended and getting to see the floats and performers come in and not be "onstage" anymore :)

CHH. You get to pick from a limited menu. Seafood Mac n cheese wasn't an option. We rode Pirates and HM. I did like the tour, but I don't feel a need to do it again. Being backstage was super cool, but I felt like I knew a lot of the facts and tidbits we were told. Very much worth doing once though.

A less than wonderful guide can make the tour hard to endure. Our second guide was miserable...he was older, and seemed to care more about his life story, as it pertained to Disney, than caring about Disney info. It's was barely endurable.
My first and third guides were both incredible. The third actually brought many of us to tears at one point in her spiel about Walt's last days.

I loved it, and would take this tour again in a heartbeat!

We did the tour for my husband's birthday this year. We had a great day and really enjoyed our tour! I could see how a bad tour guide could ruin the day, but ours was great!!

It's a great tour, have taken it several times. Don;t forget the discounts......Disney Visa, AP and DVC, all 15%.

I'm 90% sure I got the same tour guide as you when I took the tour in December 2012 and really enjoyed it. Would happily do the tour again.

We did it a couple years ago and really enjoyed it. It was air of walking and standing, but really neat information.

I just booked this for my family in December. We were waiting unyil my youngest turned 16. We are so excited to try the tour!

Did you let management know of your disappointment? I'm sorry, but if I was paying that much money for a tour, I do not want to "guess" and I certainly don't want stickers. If I recall, this tour has a minimum age requirement (like 16 or 18)....certainly way too old to want stickers. I'd have asked to be allowed to reschedule it with another "non sticker" CM. Do you by chance remember the name of your CM.....have been considering doing this tour and would want to know ahead of time if I need to find management, lol.

I really want to see about doing this tour in October, but now I'm so nervous about whether we would get a good guide! I'd hope Disney would be more careful about who they choose as guides, considering the price guests are paying. :/

No, and I wish I did. I would have talked to management about it, later. I'm awful with names.
