Keys to the Kingdom Tour - is December blacked out?

Has anyone been able to book the Keys to the Kingdom tour for any date AFTER Dec. 16?

My resort stay is Dec. 17-24, which means my dining window opened this morning, and I *should* have been able to book experiences at midnight. Everything after Dec. 16 remained greyed out all night (I was online before midnight, checking constantly.) I checked all morning too.

Even the dates in October and November that are sold out aren’t greyed out on the calendar.

I’ve called and done online chat and they just say they see no availability. They can’t confirm the dates ever dropped at all,

I’m trying to decide whether to stalk all day every day or whether maybe the week is blacked out?? Does anyone know if they historically stop the tour near Christmas? I can’t find anything online.

Sorry for the novel! This is the first year my youngest is old enough and we really wanted to do the tour for her 16th birthday.

A few years ago we were going to book a tour the week between Christmas and New Year's and were told they didn't do them at that time because the parks were so crowded, and the cast who would normally lead the tours were drafted to help with other tasks (crowd control, parking).

I would keep checking, however, I agree with PP, they do suspend most tours during mid-December holiday times - I just don't know when, historically, the tours are temporarily suspended. I remember doing Wild Africa Trek during Christmas week one year and it was one of the only tours running because it does not utilize general guest spaces during the tour. You may want to consider some alternative tours/experiences if Keys to the Kingdom isn't offered.

Thank you! Do you remember who you contacted? The general help number seems to have no idea the difference between a sold out tour and a date not offering a tour.

Thank you! I hate that I never even considered this possibility, we visit Disney every December and always said we would do this tour finally when the youngest was old enough. What a bummer! I’ll keep checking though just in case.
