Key west

An option might be interested in is hiring golf buggy. Are you able to park quite easily?

Nassau

Looking at Atlantis or blue lagoon (think this favourite of the two) or private hotel day pass.

Would love your thoughts please

We've done Atlantis and Blue Lagoon. Our preference is Blue Lagoon of the two. We haven't rented a golf cart in Key West so cannot comment there. Key West is very easy to do on your own.

We did Atlantis through a Comfort Suites booking (four wristbands for under $200). It was a lot of fun, probably the best day we have had in Nassau, but we usually opt to stay on the ship there. We have great water parks at home, but a free day on a mostly empty ship is harder to find!

Parking in Key West is somewhat tricky. You need to know where the scooters/mopeds/golf carts typically park. They aren't just strewn all about parking where they want. Luckily, for those who are mobile, most of Key West is quite accessible in a short distance. Otherwise the hop on and hop off might be another option to take. Keep in mind, no Lyft or Uber on the island, so you'll use a taxi

When you get off the ship, are taxis readily available?

Uber is definitely available in Key West. Just got back from a 4 day trip and we uber'd everywhere.

I have not arrived in Key West via a cruise ship but spent a week for a conference. I would suspect there might be a queue stand at the Hyatt. Depending on where the ship docks, you might get bussed to mallory square area. The walk from Mallory square to the southern most point is just over a mile. Duval is the touristy sometimes with some pg-13 type shops and white head is a more reasonable. Also see the below comment, Key West is now uber tolerant.

Good to know there was a change. The city council was adamant against it. Looks like in July a law was passed allowing it. They had previously arrested someone for driving for uber reviously

We have done Atlantis Water Park twice and it is great. Can't speak to Blue Lagoon.

This past year for vacation, we cruised on Fantasy, then WDW, Miami and Key West. Key West is totally walkable, and if you wanted to supplement with Uber, you'd be far better off than renting a golf cart and needing to look where to park it.

Doing the same in Feb, how long of a taxi from the port to comfort suites? also how long of a walk from comfort suites to the park? Thanks.
