I'm planning for FD but I can't recall if Kevin like Narcoossee's the best, and I have to book tomorrow so reviewing all the podcasts for the little comments isn't too realistic. I've been to Boma and California Grill for the nicer restaurants so I'm looking skipping those this time.

So far I have:
Le Cellier (Been before but can't skip...)
Cinderellas Royal Table (The person I'm taking has never been, anyone know what time the fireworks will be at the end of September?)
50's Prime time (Not my choice, :) ...)
Coral Reef (Never been, thought I'd try it for atmosphere even if Kevin didn't prefer it)
Captains Grill (Am I mixing this up with something that sounds similar, and that people liked instead?)
Chef De France (Is this still good and worth the meal?)

I know the wave has been talked about a lot, I can't recall if that's because it's good or bad, I'm rembering bad but wanted to make sure. :)

I'd like to fill our last 2 credits with a good restaurant, like Narcoossee's, Artist Point, California Grill, or Jiko (Still not sure about the African food) as a last resort.

Anyone remember Kevins reviews enough to know what he'd pick or can correct me if I'm wrong on something? Some close "almosts" for the list were Cape May, Raglan Road, 1900 Park, and Boma so if anyone thinks these should be used instead of something I'd be curious, except 50's prime time has to stay. :( :lmao:

9 nights at WDW but our flight gets in at 11pm and we leave the last day at noon so only 8 nights to eat, plus I think Saturday we'll eat around epcot for food and wine.

Just recently Kevin said he thought Narcoossee's was the best restaurant on property. They went there again and he did another review.

If it is still a maybe, I HIGHLY recommend Cape May character breakfast. I love the characters and the theme. Food is always good and it is way less chaotic than some others. Very good character interaction. Minnie Mouse played hide and seek with my niece and nephew!

Kevin recommended Narcoossee's to us and we were there two weeks ago. It is tied for my favorite restaurant on property with Artist Point. Both outstanding choices IMHO.

Also, don't forget, if it means anything to you Remi is at Chefs De France for lunch. (Until 5 pm we were told by our server...she also said he was AMAZING!) Kathy recently did a blog on this. It was our first meal at Chefs, it was good, we would go again.

HTH!

We did Narcoossee's for dinner last Saturday evening. It was wonderful!! I was hesitant at first because looking at the menu...it just didn't seem like my kind of food. I ordered the chicken dish...it was so AWESOME! Chicken was very moist while the skin was crisp. The food was just amazing...

I would have to say that Narcoossee's was my #2 favorite meal of this last trip. Palo (on board the Disney Wonder) was the BEST meal of the trip, but Narcoossee's comes a close second...

The Wave is pretty good, but IMO not in the class of the other four you list here. We did all four last year and you cannot go wrong with any of them. My reigning personal favorite would be Narcoossee's, but Jiko and Cali Grill are great too. AP is also a very good option.

The other four you mention - Cape May, Raglan Road, 1900 PF, or Boma - are not in the culinary class of these signature restaurants, so if you chose those it would be for a reason other than food or service. Out of these four, my best experiences have been at Boma. Cape May was the worst food-wise, but does have fun character interaction.

We went to the Wave last summer. The food was very good. The only problem that I had with it, was that it is a huge space, and with every table filled, the noise was deafening. Not a place for a quiet meal. The desserts were terrible, very weird flavors. My son got a milkshake, and that was the best choice.

We absolutely loved Chefs De France. It was our favorite of the week. We did not do any signature restaurants however.

We also did Grand Floridian Cafe, very good. We also liked the Hibachi place in Japan. We ate at Rose and Crown Pub in England, and that was just OK.

Enjoy your trip!
