Kevin, review of LTT

I couldn't help but think that, as outragous as it sounded, we have all experienced something like this at a restuarant somehwere in the world.

I could picture it happening and how uncomfortable Kevin must have felt. The guy must have been having a bad afternoon to suddenly flip like that.

Would it be possible for you to pass on the William Penn Pasta recipe? I'm always looking for another great pasta recipe. It sounded yummy. However, the execution at LTT may have been off.

Just an FYI: the recipe makes an insane amount of sauce. I usually half the sauce recipe and still have enough to freeze!

12 oz. rigatoni pasta
32 oz. Pink Sauce (recipe below)
2 oz fresh spinach
4 oz. smoked bacon (diced)
4 to 6 oz. chicken breast

Render bacon in saute pan. Add pasta, pink sauce and spinach to pan. Toss and place in pasta bowl. Grill chicken and place on top of the pasta.

William Penn Chicken Marinade

4 to 6 oz. Chicken Breast
1 ounce Basil
1/2 ounce Thyme
1/2 cup Canola oil
Kosher salt and pepper to taste

Mix together until the chicken is evenly coated with herbs and oil.

Pink Sauce

1 qt. Tomato Sauce
2 qt. Heavy Cream
3 oz. Fresh Garlic (chopped)
To Taste Kosher Salt & Pepper

Put tomato sauce in pot. Add garlic and heat up. When marinara sauce comes to a boil add heavy cream, salt and pepper.

:goodvibes Thank you for the recipe! My mouth was watering reading it. I've printed it and will try it next week. :thumbsup2

Is there a thread on here where people can post recipes for WDW? If not, we need to start one.

I quit eating at LTT when I realized I could have eaten my mashed potatoes through a straw.

Characters were the main reason we went there.

The first thing I thought when listening to the review is that the colony salad is one unfortunate mispronunciation away from being an entirely different meal.

when people go over to the dark side they are usually reacting to something they "perceive" as a personal attack, often what is heard is not what is said. my guess is that something they felt was totally innocent was misunderstood by the castmember and taken for rudeness. from the description, he was displaying all the signs of "feeling" intimidated by retreating and sending out someone else to deal with it. once things start to go south on ya they very seldom get better.

I agree. It might have been the most innocent of remarks and it could have been taken the wrong way. Still no excuse for that kind of behavior as a seasoned front line worker should be able to control their emotions in a situation like that....

And Dan, you don't like watered mashed potato's?

That sounds yummy! :scared1:

Are there still characters at dinner or has it gone completely character-free?
