Kerry Catona - What does everybody think?

If you haven't seen it Kerry had another disastrous interview on a daytime TV show today (This Morning). I didn't see it at the time but I have seen the full interview on the internet.
Have you seen it? Do you think she was drunk?

What do you think about Kerry?
In my opinion she was never a huge talented star - she was more famous for being a Westlife wife. It seems to have all gone downhill for her since Brian Mcfadden left her, although I do think she probably had an unpleasant childhood that didn't help.

I've seen interviews with her when pregnant when she has clearly been under the influence of "something" and I think I know what I was. Also, she was recently declared bankrupt.
I just think it's really sad, she clearly has demons that haunt her.

Just interested in what people think?

Apparently one of her represents her has said her medication was the cause of her behaviour and she shouldn't have been on the show.


I feel very sorry for her shes obviously a product of her media attention (bad and good) and people handle things different ways. Her and Britney Spears have had so much pressure on them, instead of hiring people for managers/media they should employ someone for their wellbeing...most people just want to suck money out of them.

I watched her interview on This Morning today, and it was shocking. I only saw it for a couple of minutes, and then I turned the sound off, as she 'seemed' drunk and it was so embarrassing and uncomfortable to watch

I do feel sorry for her. Her life has gone downhill since her split from Brian McFadden (not that I was keen on him either)

I read that lots of people rang and emailed the show as they were concerned for her

TBH, how her management allowed her on TV in that state was a terrible decision.

Ive never really been a fan, but I loved her on Im a Celebrity and I think it all went downhill really badly for her after her husband left her, and I think that affected her more than we will ever know. She has made some terrible choices and bad descions since then and I do feel dreadfully sorry for her, and cant believe her managment company and those closest to her cant do more to help this woman out

I saw the whole thing on this morning and it was awful. Whoever in her management team let her on live tv like that deserves to be sacked. I could tell within the first few seconds that she was either on something or drunk and am glad that Fern & Phil questioned her about it.

Personally I don't like her. I agree that she is totally messed up and some of it is possibly due to her childhood but I despise the way she smoked, drank & took drugs whilst pregnant. She just seems such a bitter nasty person in every interview & tv programme I have seen her in since her I'm a celebrity fame/split from Brian. It's her children that I feel sorry for.

I've just watched the interview online.

KK has also appeared to me to be a very troubled young woman. I personally think she has major self esteem issues which have resulted in her making some poor choices in her life. She seems to cling to people that do not have her wellbeing as their top priority.

I would be deeply saddened to think that people cared so little for me, that they would put me in the position that she was placed in today. She clearly was appearing on This Morning to generate more exposure for her new look. Maybe she should spend another £15,000 on healing the inside before spending anymore money on the outside.

What shocked me was that she tried to blame it on sleeping tablets.

I take sleeping tablets and in no way shape of form do you speak like that the morning after. Maybe a hour or so if you taken one but not at 9-10am in the morning.

I have just read on Sky News that she was due on air at 10.30 but didn't get to the studio until 10.23 so she wasn't "vetted" by the studio before going on air, just mic'd up and had her make up touched up. Max Clifford said that if he had of been there that he would never have let her appear, but it was only her husband that was there.

I used to like her but since her split from Brian I just felt that she was trying too hard to stay in the media and not necessarily for good reasons. I just feel sorry for her kids. If you look at her on You Tube she is a different person from that one that married Brian in 2002.

Sorry but she gets on my nerves, always in the news but no obvious talent there.

The appearances on these reality shows just prove that she is trying to keep herself in the pubic eye.
She is a kind of celebrity without being talented or particulary famous.

You here about these 'it' girls like Tamara Beckwith and Tara Palmer-Tomkinson - they are almost like media creations who seem to constantly be in our faces and appearing on daytime TV.

Maybe there should be a 'Celebrities who we can't stand' show?

I feel for the girl,she's like Marmite love or hate her.
She needs help and won't get it with her family or her husband.I feel the surgery she has had done was to more please him than her...she needs someone who cares about her to take her aside and help her.Will that happen? I doubt it.
She's a money making machine good or bad.
I think she was under the influence of drink,and combined with med's will not help at all.She was slurring,jittery etc,Poor woman is all I can say and children.

I agree completely, even though I'm not her biggest fan I do feel sorry for her and her children.

The interview was like watching a car crash in slow motion. I thought Fern and Phil handled it as well as they could, but, as has been said, she should never have been allowed near a camera in that state.

Says a great deal about our modern-day society when someone with such limited talent can become a mega-rich star. The tragedy is that thousands of young girls look to her as an example.

She needs help, and she needs a reality check.

I agree Nat, I dont think there is anyone, or surley they would have helped her by now.

I just saw the complete interview on TV and I do have to say that at the beginning they were showing a clip from her reality show where she was with the doctor as he was examining her just before going down for her op and her speech was also very slurred on that as well, and friends in work also say she spoke that way a lot on her show on TV (that I have never seen) so maybe the medication is having some sort of effect on her speech?
