The kennel club has finally seen sense about dog breeding, the changes made to breeds like the british bulldog a breed that has to be artificial inseminated and in most cases pups delivered by c section will have to change. Of course the morons in the bulldog society are winging but since when have dog breaders considered the health of the animals?

Now its time for cat breeders to get some sense. The face that some persians have is so bad that some of them have to be spoon fed. No animal should be bred to the point that they can't reproduce, see or eat without human aid.

I'm so glad, I had to have my golden retreiver put down as he developed epilepsy which resulted in brain damage. He was only three and it was heartbreaking.
Why they don't band breeding from any animals that have an hereditary condition is beyond me.

I have been following this story+i am so happy with the outcome.Lets hope it means the end of 'other' things as well,docking-which does still go on,persian cats,etc..x.

This has been a long time happening, glad that they have finally seen sense at last.

Flame suit on

Maybe they will ban tail docking all over the uk next like they did in Scotland last year:cheer2:

I think that maybe the fact that Pedigree pulled out as the main sponsor of Crufts may also have put the pressure on.

I totally agree. The Kennel Club are a law unto themselves they have forgotten that the purpose of it was to promote dog breeds.
