We plan on visiting after our cruise. I'm sure if there are any discounts out there a DIS'er knows. Care to share any tips?

Our shuttle driver gave us a coupon for $3.50 off per person for Maximum Access Admission. I wasn't sure I would like KSC, but our whole family really enjoyed our day there. There is a lot to see, so plan to stay as long as possible.

My son is a real space nut, so we did the "All Access Pass" and the "Up Close Tour". Very good. We saw Columbia as close as we could and got to visit the other launch pad. More to see than our day would allow us. By the way, we were there the day after Christmas- always the busiest day of the year we were told- and had no problems seeing what we wanted to see. Our longest wait was for the IMAX movies.

I would love to go back again. Don't think we will make it on our next trip. I think my son will be disappointed that we won't have time.

I strongly recommend ordering tour & admission online at www.ksctickets.com

Tours can sell out quickly (we learned that the hard way last time - sold out when we got there 1/2 an hour after they opened). Prepurchasing tour tickets online will at least guarantee you the tours that you want.

We are also planning on going to KSC after we get off the ship. We didn't buy tickets because we were unsure of what time we would be getting off the boat. Our flight leaves at 3:00, so we'd have to be at the airport at 2:00 and leave KSC by 1:00. What time are you staying to?

You can get modestly discounted tickets from Ticketmania.com and also from some of the local tourist publications.

When Ticketmania sent my most recent order they included a bunch of the tourist mags and most had a discount coupon for Kennedy. You can pick these up in Orlando area hotels, stores, and restaurants.

we'll be at KSC all day then drive into Orlando where we're staying 2 nights before flying home
