Thanks for the info!!

DH and I visited Kennedy many-many years ago... We will be taking our son, who will be 11, on our next trip to Orlando.

Does anyone know what we should do, or not do, on a visit to Kennedy?

I am not wanting to pay for extras... I am assuming that we can take the regular bus tour, and see the IMAX, included in the admission.

What other things should we make sure to see or do?
What about the Astonaut Hall of Fame?
What about other sites/activities at Kennedy?

Thanks!

Our AAA website is not listing Kennedy at all????

Does anyone have a link or know how to get the AAA discount online?

Thanks!

I just got a $5 off coupon on a box of Kraft Mac n Cheese. Got until the end of this year and for up to 6 admissions.

thanks for the promo i have printed off a couple for our trip as we will definitely going there in december.
Each one is good for 6 people.

Definitely visit the Astronaut Hall of Fame. I'm pretty sure it was included in the regular ticket (we paid around $35) and it was a really fun place... probably our favorite part of the Kennedy space Center. That's where all the interactive and hands-on exhibits are and they're great! It's a short drive away from the main complex but it's worth it.

I wasn't impressed with the Imax movie at Kennedy. If I was We did it right after lunch which may have been our mistake. to go again I would skip it. Waiting for the busses for the tour was long. The frist stop on the bus tour wasn't very exciting, so you might want to skip that stop and stay on the bus to save some time. By the time we got back from the bus tour, we were all wiped so we missed some of the other exhibits that I think my kids would've liked. We didn't get to the Astronaut hall of Fame but wish we had. Over all it was a disappointment, but I think it was due to lack of planning on my part and it was our fourth day after three busy days at WDW.

Thanks everyone1

We will stop at the Hall of Fame... Yes, I think it is all included... And let DS do the hands on experiences.

We will also make sure he does the Space Shuttle ride.

Too bad the Bus Tour is two hours long!!!

I remember the IMAX from when I was there many years ago... One of the films was quite good, with a little action. I see now they are 3D, but I am not sure that they will be as 'entertaining' as one of the ones I saw years ago. I mean, I am sure it is really neat... but after a few minutes.. floating around in space might not be THAT exciting... especially for kids. But, we will check it out!
