As first time users of DP when we're back in 2015 we're reasonably comfortable about using it - but how do we keep track of how much we've used over our 10 days?

Your receipts will show you what you used for the purchase and how many of that item left...so a QS receipt lists QS used/remaining, etc. Very easy!

I found a simple free app that keeps a running tally, so that's an option. But, for me what works best is I just keep a running tally in my trip diary. I have a binder where I take notes each evening of what we did, highlights, how much $ I spent, etc... and on there I just keep a running tally of my dining credits.

Or, you can just do as the pp said and keep an eye on your receipts. That's a good habit anyway, just to make sure there were no errors in credits charged.

First timer here using Magic Band with DDP..

So I understand that I present my MB when using the DDP..
How does that process work? Do you put in your Password for MDE as your pin? Have heard folks speak about a PIN...Another words, is this the same as the password for MDE?:confused3
THANKS?:)

You set your PIN either on MDE before you leave home or when you check into the hotel. Its a numerical pin. The server will bring a scanner to the table, scan your magicband and then you enter your pin number. It works this way for either DDP or cash purchases for food or merchandise.

Is it a 4 digit pin?:confused3
I have 4 digits as part of my password on MDE, but I think I will "set" the pin as a different set of numbers in case there would be some type of id theft within smartphone...Maybe best to have 2 different set of numbers!:)::yes::

Yes. Its a 4 digit pin. We forgot ours from one trip to the next so I had to reset it at the hotel. It was suggested to me to use the last 4 numbers of a phone number.
