Help! DS has just mastered the art of walking and is like the Energizer bunny. We have a CARES harness but how should I keep him happy on the 2.5 hour flight? I'll take snacks and a few small toys, but toys have never kept him interested for very long, DVDs also don't keep his interest. I'm hoping he'll nap, but not sure if he will with all of us sitting around him. He's more of an adventurous little guy who likes to move and climb. Any suggestions? Thanks!!

You might want to consider his using carseat instead of the CARES harness if you want him to nap. I flew with a new walker once and it was a breeze because he was in his carseat and knew he couldn't get out and walk around. He always slept in the car anyway, so he fell asleep easily in his carseat on the plane. Good luck! :goodvibes

I second the carseat. He will be way more comfortable and will hopefully nap for at least part of the time. Bring lots of little snacks like cheerios and dole them out slowly to pass the time. Stickers may also keep him busy for a while. Have fun on you trip.

Another car seat recommendation here... we've gone through this w/ two kids and I wouldn't travel any other way!
