We have a FP for Festival of the Lion King for four on 2/16 at 9:30. I'm just wondering whether it's worth using a FP for this, or whether we should try to get a FP for another attraction.

It really depends what other FP you're getting. We have a hard time using up 3 FP at AK.But as Robo stated, it's not worth getting the FP. For early shows, you don't even need to arrive that early.
my mom will have an ECV and I was thinking since that will have to be floor seating we wont need to FP this. Am I correct in my thinking?
Is your mom able to transfer from the ECV?? The new theater has only 8 spaces for ECV's. Chances are that the FP folks will get those. I discovered with my ECV mom that it was better to get the FP. Although she can transfer, she found the benches to be pretty uncomfortable.my mom will have an ECV and I was thinking since that will have to be floor seating we wont need to FP this. Those who arrive about a half-hour before show-time (and line up at the standby entrance) will be able to
get a choice of seats in the theater comparable to those entering with FP+.
If you want to lion section, you'll need FP+. And most of the elephant section as well. Otherwise, no FP needed.
Cuz my 2yr only roars and refuses to make any of the other soundsWhy would you want to be in the Lion section?
Cuz my 2yr only roars and refuses to make any of the other soundsBut we make do roaring in the warthog section.
Then you'll be one of the lucky ones that get the floor seatsmy mom cant walk stairs so no she won't be able to transfer expect maybe into a wheelchair..
