Here's my story....back in early November, we reserved a car w/ Budget. I went back to site today to get all the info I need on the "pick-up service available". Happened to plug in our dates and check the rates, and they went down...not much, but, down! Here's the kicker: used the SAME RENTAL CODE as before! I don't get it! Maybe because the time is getting closer...I dunno? But, I'm happy I checked and will continue to do so for summer trip! So....keep checking up until the time you go!

You should always keep checking. Also consider checking other rental car places. You just never know when you'll stumble on a good or great deal!

Prior to our trip to Orlando I was amazed at how the rates changed so much. It seemed whenever I tried I'd knock a few more dollars off. The day before we left I checked again and got more $ off so I opted to upgrade for the same rate as I had the smaller car for.

Also, when we arrived at the airport the other companies were trying to get us to jump to them. They offered to beat the rate we had booked. I didn't go for that as I also had Alamo dollar certificates to use up. I would have tried that otherwise.
