There are too many choices for Keens! I read the descriptions and reviews, but can't tell much of a difference between them all. I've never had so much trouble picking between styles. Is one style supposed to be the most comfortable? I would like to get whatever has the most cushioning. I think the poly material would stand up better for the whole summer and our Sept. trip to Disney. Can anyone explain what the differences are and what exact style you recommend for my 2 and 4 year old girls.

Also, I'd love to get a pair for myself. Which has the most ankle and arch support?

Where can you get them online for the best price?

Thanks!!!!

Check out the reviews on zappos.com - from what I gathered, the H2 versions are more waterproof and, therefore, can get stinky (footbeds don't soak up any water or sweat). The regular versions can handle some water, so I would go with those unless you plan to stand around in water.

I think that Newport vs. Venice is just different looks. I think that the footbeds are the same. Again, this is what I gleaned from reading reviews.

Seriously, zappos.com reviews are really helpful. I don't always buy there (prices can be higher than other places), but the reviews are great.

(I bought some for DD once, but she never wore them. I'm about to buy some for DH.)

Thanks Elmo888!!!! I'll look at Zappos.

I know there are more Keen Fans out there. Anybody else have any opinions?

just bumping...I am about to buy some keens--matching Iced Lilac Newports for dd and I.

I just wanted to say that usually find Zappos reviews helpful, but this time I didn't. I had to check reviews on other sites and forums because alot of the bad reviews on keens are from 2006, where I found out they were different then. They didn't have the hook and loop strap-- you had to pull them on and off.

I would be interested if anybody has any other advise before ordering..

We just bought the Newports H2's for the girls in our family. DD's are 5 and 7. REI only had the Newport style for kids (in the store) But I tried on the Newport and Venice styles - the Newport fit my foot better, although they were both comfortable. My 5 year old wears hers everyday - she loves them! The 7 year old likes hers - but she is more into fashion than comfort (already :sad2: ) so she has only worn them a few times.

I wore mine all day for the first time at a swim meet. I was working the consession stand and on my feet for 7 hours straight. The Newport was comfortable, overall. I did get a "hot spot" on one toe, but no blister. We don't go to WDW until Auguust - so they will be perfect by then!! :lovestruc The H2 does have a rubber sole - I got them due to the summer rains in Florida and the water rides. No worries with soggy shoes!!
