This weekend I will be making the purchase on a pair of Keens for our upcoming trip. I've tried on both styles and both were very comfortable. Based on your experience with Keens, is one style better than the other for Disney and the amount of walking?

I prefer the Venice for 2 reasons.

One, is that it's a bit more open, and therefore, cooler.

Two, the way the Newports are cut, irritates the little toe on my left foot. But that's simply my issue. ;)

Either one is a great shoe for Disney.

Wasn't really shopping for shoes yesterday, but saw the Keen Cheyenne Lace at a store and ended up buying them. They seem really comfortable - my concern is if there is enough support at the ball of my foot, as it didn't seem like much there. Found the same style on Zappos, but the ones I bought are brown, not black as pictured. http://www.zappos.com/keen-cheyenne-lace

We are visiting WDW in late Dec, and I have been looking for something very comfortable to walk in without a back since I don't like shoes rubbing on my heel. Normally, I wear some type of flip-flop as many days of the year that I can. But am afraid that there may be a cool snap in Dec while at WDW and will need something a bit warmer for my feet. BTW, I've never worn Keen shoes before, but a friend has some Keen sandals that she says are the most comfortable shoe she's ever worn.

I have had several pairs of Newports, absolutely love them, a great shoe for WDW.

Tried on the Venice but didn't find them as comfortable.....personal preference, I guess. I would think that you can't go wrong with either one!

Tip: I always get 1/2 size up from my regular size......

I have only worn the Venice H2, but it is my favorite shoe (sandal or otherwise!). I wear them for every Disney trip. They keep my feet cool and they dry quickly. Even in cooler weather they work. The enclosed toe keeps my feet warm enough. I highly recommend them!:thumbsup2

Hmm...they don't look THAT much different except for the straps on the side. I suppose the Venice would have more circulation but the Newports are still pretty airy.....

I swear by my Newports. Wish I could wear them with EVERYTHING!!!!

I bought the Venice cause I found them on for $66 on Amazon, and couldn't pass up that deal. They are my first pair of Keen sandals, but I have 3 pairs of shoes - 2 Sydney II's and a pair of portolas. The Sydney II's are the only show I can walk long distances in without having foot cramps, but they look silly with shorts, so I'm hoping that the Venice H2's will work for me in Disney. They are very comfortable for the short amount of time I've warn them, and the interior of the straps are very cushy, so I may be able to wear them without socks some of the time, but my feet are very blister prone, so I'm planning to just be a dork and wear socks to save my feet. I figure they aren't as bad as open- toed sandals with socks, so it could be worse ;)

I have the Venice in black and love them. I will probably by another pair for my upcoming trip. Good to go right out of the box - no break in period. I wore them 2 years to WDW in January. A cold front came through during the trip and I wore them with black socks that are low cut and don't come up over the ankle. My sister said she couldn't tell I was wearing socks with sandals and it looked just like regular shoes.

I wore Keen Newport H2s on our trip this summer and I loved them. The only issue I had was with the strap behind the heel. I ended up putting a preventative bandaid on each morning where the strap hit and I was fine. I wore them all summer at home without a problem, but Disney walking is different... Enjoy!
