Katie Holmes and former fiance Chris Klein

I laways wondered about, especially since, as far as I can remember, her name was always Liv TYLER, not Liv Rundgren.

That was because by the time she was in the public eye her paternity was known. However her surname prior to her knowing was Rundgren

Tyler was born Liv Rundgren at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York.

At Liv's birth, Buell claimed that rock star, Todd Rundgren, with whom Buell had been living since 1972, was Tyler's biological father. At age eight Tyler discovered that she was Steven Tyler's daughter after meeting him and noticing a resemblance she shared with his other daughter, Mia.

When she asked her mother about the similarity, the secret was revealed. The truth about Tyler's paternity did not become public until five years later in 1991, when she changed her name from Rundgren to Tyler, but kept the former as a middle name

Someone else linked to that burn book yesterday and I ignored my family for over an hour last night laughing my butt off at it. It's HYSTERICAL!!

Love it.

:rotfl:I had never heard that word before that. BUT I was just watching reruns of Dharma and Greg, and Greg called something glib:rotfl:

Maybe Greg could be suri's father!!! And then Dharma could be her step mother!

Guys, I have to say, I was suppose to be cleaning out a room tonight....and here I sit with a diet coke reading this thread! I am SO GLAD it came back to life......... (my vote: Tom is not the bio dad. Very Happy Katie got out !)

Whaaaat???? :rotfl:

And I've noticed she's been carried a lot too. I didn't know if it was parents way of protecting her in crowds. You don't see other parents doing that when cameras are around, but Suri is probably photographed more than any other kid.

Jen Garner and Ben Affleck's girls are carried around a lot more than other girls of their age/size as well. I've noticed it esp with the oldest girl because she's quite tall (like both her parents, of course). I also know Jen Garner has a restraining order against one stalker. The public only found out about the stalker --who'd been harassing her for years -- when the court granted the order. So it may be that celebrities carry their kids due to fear of stalkers that we know nothing about.

I would think crowds would play into it too..depending on where they are/if they are spotted it would make it easier for them to safely maneuver their child through the crowds if they are carrying them vs them walking with them/holding their hand and the child gets lost in the crowd or jostled away.

I had to check this out after your post, omg.. you are right-freakin' hysterical! Far more entertaining than either career of her parents, lol.

I just spent the past two days reading suris burn book, freaking hysterical!!

This could be the case or they just like to carry the kids. I see the papparazzi all over them and I would probably carry my own kid to get them through that crap. They get really bad sometimes. I used to work in the same building as Howard Stern and there would be the paps outside when a big celebrity was in the building. They would just hang out and wait for hours. It was weird.

But on the flip side, I have a stepdaughter that feels the need to carry her DD all over. She was still carrying close to her 8th birthday. She's a regular sized kid. The kid just liked to be carried and her mother accomodated her...and then complain her back hurt.

Ok, I know he's not even a contender in this paternity race, but you know who the first guy I thought of when I saw this pic? (and a few other pics of her as well) Paul Rudd!

You know those websites you enter your photo and it tells you which celebrities you look like? Well they need one for "Who's your daddy?". :)

Off topic:
I found this site a while back when it was pretty new and it was recommend by one of my favorite authors Jenn Lancaster. She is ridiculously funny! Just a thought for any readers out there :)

And back to Katie....crazy all these "accidents" happening around her?!?
