Kati & Daniel's 10.02.11 DIY Disney wedding

I've been lurking here for months to get ideas, but I'm just now getting around to registering!

My name is Kati and the boy's name is Daniel. Our wedding is less than two months away on October 2nd! We've been together 11 years (we started dating when I was 15) and we've been engaged for 4 years...yeah, apparently we take our sweet time!

Of course I would kill to get married at Disney World, but it's not at all realistic for us, but it's quite alright since we will be spending our honeymoon there! I am super super excited about the honeymoon (probably more so than the actual wedding, lol) because I've taken 7 Disney trips with my mom but I've NEVER stayed on property and my mother-in-law booked us a room at the Swan Secondly, I'm thrilled because my fiance has never been to WDW and I couldn't be more excited to show him what I've been obsessed with all these years!

I'll try to post what I've got planned so far a little later since I apparently can't post any pictures or links until I have a few more posts under my belt.

One question though, where do you guys get the little countdown markers??

Congratulations on your wedding from another October bride! You're getting married 2 days before us.

To get a ticker just click on somebody elses ticker, thats how I got mine. I'm useless with things like that otherwise.

I finally got done with the invitations a few weeks ago and sent them out. I have to say, I LOVE getting the RSVPs in the mail

anyway, I bought some print-your-own invitation type deals at Michael's on clearance for $20 a box. My printer then decided to crap out so I gave up and had them professionally printed for $43 (80 invites & rsvp cards...not a bad deal, actually!) throw in some adhesive cardstock and my magical mickey punch (plus a LOT of time sitting on the couch watching reruns of Ghost Whisperer) and voila!

(the pictures are crap. sorry)

seriously, they're SOOOOOO cute in person....but these photos are kinda awful.



sooooo...next on my list: FAVORS. ideas, please??? i have a few running around in my head, but more mickey-themed diy favor ideas, would be splendid!!
