Kathryn, Colin and Andrew's trip to WDW!**Completed**

We've done the Family Magic tour and loved it so were thinking of doing the Magical Milestones next time, what a shame you were disappointed.

Sorry for the delay in updating! I've been trying to get organised for going back to work!

Saturday 14th July

Today we went to Epcot! We were there for the opening ceremony and were lucky enough to be at the rope, so Andrew was able to see all the characters!

We decided to go on Soarin first, this is my favourite ride! When we were walking into the land all the CMs were standing cheering and giving high 5's with the big character hands! Andrew thought this was great.

We went on Test Track, Ellen's Energy and Nemo. Colin went on Mission Space while Andrew did a colouring activity at the test track shop. We then had lunch at Electric Umbrella and went back to the hotel for a sleep.

When we got back we had these two little mice waiting for us!

We had an ADR for Le Cellier so made our way back to Epcot. We saw the bears from Brother Bear, so Andrew had to get an autograph and photo!

The meal was excellent and I would love to go back there, service was good. We had to wait a while to get seated so the servers hosted a quiz about Canada and we won honorary canadian badges!

Andrew got the moose dessert, it was cool!

Very tired and in bed at 9.30pm!

15th July 2007

Rest Day and MGM

We got up a bit later, well 9am! We went down to do a washing (interesting I know!) and then we spent some time in the pool. We had our lunch at the food court and spent some time watching TV in the room.

We decided to go to MGM at 2pm as we had a dinner reservation at 50's Prime Time. We arrived just in time to catch the end of the parade but while we were watching it, it started to pour with rain! We took shelter at the pin station at the entrance!

We went to the animation studios and then to the Narnia exhibition, this was good but don't sit on the carpet to watch the presentation, its not the comfiest!!

After this we went to Sounds Dangerous. This was totally ruined by a group of teenagers from one of the tour groups, they shouted through it and put there mobile phones on, it was terrible. The CM even apologised at the end and said we could stay for the next show but we just went. I was really annoyed.

Anyway we went through the park and got some autographs for Andrew and made sure to stop at the Singing in the rain umbrella.

We had the best meal of our trip at 50's prime time. Our waitress gave Colin and Andrew a row for wearing their hats, putting their elbows on the table and not eating their vegetables! She even did an "aeroplane" for COlin to eat his veg and he did (unheard of!!)

We had originally planned to go to Fantasmic on Friday 20th but we had to change our plans because of our shopping trip. We were told it would be on a Monday and when we arrived and phoned to confirm we were told it only ran on a Friday. So we had to cancell our Fantasmic Dinner Package at Hollywood and Vine. So we just decided just to stay on and see fantasmic.

We were there an hour before it started and I was so uncomfortable by the time it started! Anyway we were kept entertained by the tour groups! Joined in all the mexican waves! Fantasmic was brilliant!

We managed to get out of the theatre in one piece! Didn't have to wait that long on a bus but did have to share it with part of a tour group! Got a bit annoyed as they seemed to think it was Ok to constantly scream and shout throughout the journey!

Its all down to timing and luck really (along with my BIG camera being set to the slowest possible speed without bluring the pictures to much! ) Wait for the bright lights to shine and hope for the best. You should see the 100 odd ones that did not coem out well!

16th July 2007​

We ate breakfast at the resort food court, chocolate chip pancakes yummm! We then headed to Animal Kingdom arriving just in time for the opening ceremony. We went straight to Expedition Everest, it was brilliant!

We then went on Primevil Whirl, it was good. The CM asked Colin if he had his seat belt on and Colin's face was a picture as he looked at the lap bar!! Then went on Dinasaur and Kali River Rapids. Got a few autographs and photos for Andrew.

We had lunch at Flame Tree BBQ, it was very good and we had a great view of Everest!

We decided to back to the resort as it was very hot and went in the pool!

That afternoon we went to the cinema to see Harry Potter. When we came out we went into candy cauldron and got some chocolate strawberries and a rice crispy square.

We went back to the hotel and had dinner and an early night!

17th July 2007

This morning we were up early as we had breakfast with Lilo and Stitch. This was a really good character meal, Stitch was great!

We then went to Epcot to go to Innoventions, as Andrew wanted to build a robot!

We had a wander round and decided to go to Where's the Fire! I am so glad we decided to go in, as we were 3 of 16 people who received a dream from the dream squad!!!! We won lanyards and pins! I was so excited!

We had a wander around World Showcase and grabbed a few snacks on the way. I really liked the rainbow shaved ice from Japan. Andrew collected all the stamps from the countries!

We had dinner at Beirgarten, very nice! Even though I was a bit worried about sharing a table the other people were very friendly and I'm glad we went!

We stayed for Illuminations and found a spot just outside the Germany Pavillion. A rude family tried to push in but I politely asked them to move! This is the first time we have seem Illuminations and they were fantastic.

The buses were quite quiet as it was EMH and as we spent the whole day out (totally unheard of for us!!) we were very tired!!

18th July 2007

We had a lie in this morning! We had an early lunch at the resort food court and then headed to MGM. We wandered around the shops and Andrew bought a clatter board thing! We have his using this at the beginnin of our holiday video!!

We went to see Emile and Remy from Ratatouillie and also the Incredibles, Mr Incredible was funny he was showing off!

The ques were very long so we didn't really go on many rides, now I realise why we go to the parks early! We got some frozen drinks, mine was horrible and watched some of the street performers who were very funny!

We had a very early dinner at Sci Fi, I really like this restaurant. As we were early we went in to the writer's stop and met a CM who was from a town close to us!

We went back to the hotel and had a rest. We couldn't be bothered going out again! So settled to watch TV. At 8pm we were feeling hungry so we got a pizza, it was huge!!
