Hello All!!
Long time no posting, I know. I don't know if any of you out there are still interested in reading my horribly neglected PJ, but I've been recently encouraged to at least post some last minute details and gear up for my upcoming TR.
It has been some of the MOST difficult 5 months of my life. Truly, I have been sad, frustrated, hurt, angry, appalled, shocked, flabbergasted, flummoxed, bamboozled, and so many other emotions for which they don't make emoticons! Since no one wants to read about a Debbie Downer, I decided it was best to just not say anything at all.
Seeing as how we only have 16 days left, everything is paid for, my vacation has officially started (as of today), and we have chosen NOT to let the in-laws manipulate us anymore, I'm in a MUCH better place.
Let's get on with it! I'll give you the last 5 months in a quick picture summary. Pictures are always better!
Bachlorette
Wicked fun! Tapas bar followed by an Irish Bar.
Then I had a dress fitting that actually went WELL! I was so surprised and soo relieved! Hence the HUGE smile.
Did some DIY's. I took on WAY more projects than I could handle. Darn you Pinterest!
Bridesmaids, MOB, MOG, Grandma, and Flower Girl Robes:
Tears of Joy packets:
My Cake Topper. I bought it at Party City and used Martha Stewarts fine glitter to cover it. I think it turned our mighty fine, if I do say so myself!
Then I flew through a hurricane a couple times:
When I got back, I made some flower girl baskets:
Had a bridal shower that was AWESOME! I have the best family ever!!
Then I worked on the seating chart:
Went here:
To view our center piece mock ups:
And worked on our favors which are filled with Peppermint Patty Pieces, (which are blue and white)
We also came up with, what I think, is a clever solution to indicate who ordered what...color coded crystal Mickeys!
So that sums up the good parts of the last 5 months! Looks like I had nothing but an awesome time, and we'll leave it at that... it was all awesome!
There is so much more to do, but we've made all our final payments, so we really can relax now and enjoy these last couple of weeks!
