I checked the 2011 thread when I heard, there doesn't seem to be anyone listed. We in the uk get an extra public holiday thanks to them

I don't share the date, but I have a lot of people asking me about my engagement ring because it is designed similar to the one that Princess Diana wore that Kate now has as her ring. The funny thing is that neither DH and I made the connection when first engaged until some of our older family members asked if we had it designed after her ring It was just a coincidence since I wanted a dark colored sapphire, now people have been noticing my ring again since they have been showing Kate wearing it in the news.

This is my wedding anniversary and DH's birthday!!!
We will watch the events in the Abbey on the Friday (29th - our 11th anniversary), travel to the hotel at Manchester Airport on the Saturday and fly out to Orlando on the Sunday. VR on the following Wednesday!!! Can't wait!!

That would be so cool! Oh well, we'll settle for the Queen's Birthday Holiday, which by the way is no where near the Queen's birthday...

It's the day after my birthday! I had planned on taking my birthday off, but i think I'll take the 29th off and watch on TV (I'm sure they will have coverage in the US) - don't ya think?

The Queen actually has two birthdays!! Her actual birthday in April and the anniversary of her assension to the throne (or coronation - not sure which) which is in June and known as her 'official birthday.
