I'll be going by myself. Anybody else staying at WL/VWL and want to share a cab at closing? Anybody have an idea on how much a cab would be from JR to WL? Will I be able to find a cab at 1:45? Thanks!

You got Scotty's CD! Oh no, and you have the tree-o logo for your avatar! Way cool! And you haven't even had the pleasure of seeing Scotty!

You won't have a problem getting a cab. You just go out to the front door of the Boardwalk, and the bellmen can call one for you. I do it all the time. I would guess that the cab will cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $15.

LOL Thanks anyway, Karen! I am hoping we'll be able to come. Since we'd only be there for the weekend (Ok, I almost just typed weak end LOL), where would be the best resort, as far as location to everything that is going on? I know Jellyrolls is on that Friday night. Anything else planned for the other days/nights of that weekend? Or just more Jellyrolls? heh heh

Seaspray, that would be the perfect time to try out an Epcot area resort! Then you won't have to worry about how to get home from Jellyrolls, and if you want to go to the mousefest events, a lot of them take place at Epcot and MGM, as do a lot of other holiday happenings

That's what I figured, it'll be a great time to finally try either Beach Club, Yacht Club, or Boardwalk. Which do you recommend? Are they close to each other? From what I remember, from the one and only time I was ever on the Friendship boat from MGM to Epcot, they are across the lake from each other, right? Jellyrolls is at the Boardwalk, so I'm assuming maybe the Boardwalk would be best? Where are you staying? You know we'll want to knock on your door in the middle of the night and stalk you, right??

Arg! Maybe we'll talk you into a midnight game of pirates? Oh, I guess we'd still be at Jellyrolls at midight.

Yes, the Boardwalk and the Yacht & Beach Club are right around the lagoon from each others. It's probably no more than a 7-10 minute walk between them.

I think you'd be happy at any of them. I'm staying at the Boardwalk Villas myself.

You may want to consider the Swan & Dolphin as well--you can get some great deals there.

I'll be bringing my laptop with me. Arg.

It's a slow, wobbly 8 min. walk from Jellyrolls to BCV at 1:45am. Did it many times in August BCV to Boardwalk bakery in the morning was 5-6 minutes.

Oh noooo.....that is gonna be me...slow and wobbly. Looks like I'm going to be at BCV rather than BWV since my waitlist isn't going so well. 1:45????!!!! OMG...I think I may be getting too old for these kinds of shenanigans!!! Maybe there will be someone else wobbling on over to BCV with me so I don't fall into the lake!!
