I, for one, can tell you "arm twisting" is a most effective method employed by this group

The Swan and Dolphin are GREAT for wobblers... I'll be wobbling to the Swan after Jellyrolls.

Hmmm... we may need to consider an addendum to the DIS Posting Guidelines. Something like "posting photos of wobbling webmasters could have an adverse effect on your DIS posting privileges."

Ahhh, come on..pulling rank is soooo not fair!!! I can think of one moderator that has had some, how do I put this....hmmm, incriminating photos of some nefarious behavior. I personnally think that wobbling, if done with dignity, is just fine!!! ( )

Maybe we can wobble back to the Swan together - actually, will have DBF along this trip (I've dubbed him travelin' tigger 2 ot tt2 for short) and we can have him propel us in the right direction, then it's all downhill from there!!!

I'll have you guys know, I had to check out this thread because (ok,no laughing)... I had a dream last night about this meet!!!

I will be wobbling back to the Dolphin too. Kathy, in your wobble to the Swan, will you be able to find East from West again? I think we should all have wobbling buddies. Maybe we can get those chains that day care centers have for their kids and we can all wobble in a line back to our respecitve hotels....while singing into spoons of course.

I need absolutely NO arm twisting! LOL I *really* want to go, but have some issues that are preventing me from booking the trip. lol

First of all: We spent a LOT $$ on our Disney World trip this summer. Stayed at the Wilderness Lodge conciege and the Polynesian, lagoon concierge, and spent a lot on meals and souvenirs. Not a big deal, but basically spent all of our vacation dollars for the year.

Second: I went to the NJ shore a few times this summer! Poor DH had to stay home and work I went with relatives and had a blast, but again, spent some vacation $$ on that.

Third: DH has been great and "surprised" me with ANOTHER trip to WDW for the end of October! It was going to be a budget trip. We were initially booked at Pop Century but somehow we've talked ourselves into changing over to the Polynesian, again lagoon view concierge So there are actually some of next year's vacation $$$ being spent!

Fourth: We are already booked on a Disney cruise for next summer. Two cabins; DH and I in a verandah cabin and DSs across the hall in an inside cabin. The cruise, plus air fare and excursions, and drinks and photos and souvenirs, etc is going to add up to another $10,000. vacation! lol

Fifth: DS17 will be starting college next fall! So in addition to tuition, we plan on buying him a top-of-the-line laptop (a laptop is required for college, these days!), plus we'll be having a graduation party for him, etc.

Sixth: My best friend, (my sister), is celebrating her 25th wedding anniversary this fall. My other best friend, her daughter (my niece!) is throwing the party, so we have the expense of a hotel while we're there (it's in a different state than we live), plus the present (my niece and I are sending them on a weekend get away, as their present), and other travel expenses.

Seventh: I don't work. Well, I do, but only 1 full day, every 2 weeks!! So basically, I don't work. lol And I do feel a bit "guilty" about wanting to spend even more of DH's hard-earning paycheck on another Disney trip.

DH keeps telling me I can go alone, if I want to go. He has basically used all his vacation days already, and does not want to use any more. So that makes it even harder to go, because then I'd be spending the money on a trip just for ME. Also, I don't like to travel alone. I know I'd be with all of you while I am there, but I'd be a big chicken going back to whatever resort by myself!! I am trying to be "responsible" and not spend more than we should on vacations this year, you know??

So...unless DH says that he'll go too, then I think I will have to pass Now that I know about the annual Jellyrolls meet, I can save up for next year's!

Now, if anyone cares to PM my DH, his name on here is CapeCAD. He's the one who's arm you'll have to twist!

Since I don't usually drink, I will offer to be the designated walker. I will get ropes for each hotel, and walk you back in groups to your respective resorts if you are staying at the Swan, Dolphin, or Boardwalk. If you are staying elsewhere, I'll put you in a cab.
