I've never been on Kali River Rapids as I usually go in the cooler months, but this year, I'm going in August and feel it may be a good way to cool off! However, I don't want my belongings getting wet - backpack, camera, etc. Any tips on how to keep those things dry during the ride?

There is a container in the middle of the raft that closes. Put your things in there, but anything that will be ruined by water should be put in a plastic bag inside your backpack.

Have a great time!

In the center of the "boat" is a well that has a cover on it. It doesn't keep things totally dry, but somewhat dry. We also bring a change of clothes so that we are not walking around soaked.
Our DS's usually take their shoes and socks off and stick in the center so that they have dry shoes.

Don't assume you will be able to get your stuff in the middle. Most times when I have gone, the middle was full and I couldn't get anything in. I believe there are some lockers around that you can put valuables in (could be wrong). I'd bring a zip lock bag just in case.

Ziplock is the way to go, our bag did't fit in, and you will get wet!!!I guess you could always babyswap, so someone could take a picture/keep the stuff dry.
