Anyone else listen to K92 FM when they are in Orlando? We love it and it is always a big part of our holiday. Was just wondering if there were any other fans out there.

We love it too Verity, although it can drive my "punk metal" loving son to distraction!!!!!

I often listen to it over here via the Internet when I need an Orlando fix.

I have started listening to it on the internet too which is fab. I love hearing the "K92 fm ORLANDO" theme tune, always makes me giggle!!! We have it on in the car, in the room and on the alarm each year! My husband has finally got used to it and even knows a few songs now!!SO pleased there are some other UK fans out there!

hehe i always make a deal with my parents whenever i was there that i could listen to certain radio stations for a while when we were in the car etc. I drove this year so they had to put up with me listening to O rock, 101.1 your punk metal son will love that!

We've always preferred WHTQ Classic Rock on 96.5FM but then we're a couple of metal-heads who grew up on a diet of 80's rock. It's always on when I drive over there and anybody who hasn't experienced Johnboy And Billy's Big Show (6-10am Mon-Sat) sure as h*** ain't lived!! Check it out dudes!!! These guys are just so funny (it's all clean too!), just listening to them laughing at their studio guests has me in fits!!

Call me an old fuddy-duddy , but making sure we find a 'clean' station is something I'm always concerned about when we listen to US radio (not that our DDs would bat an eyelid whatever we heard, as I'm sure they hear a lot worse!).

So, are there any stations we should definitely avoid, or am I worrying unnecessarily?

Isn't O-Rock 105.9FM? I have to agree that O-Rock must be one of the best radio stations in the world for Rock/Alternative/Punk - just look at the playlist:

I must admit my son insists we put on O Rock every couple of days to give him a break from country music but then it's back to K92 FM!!

Luckily it's just me and my DH Gerry so there's no complaints. I was forced it on my as a child and it never hurt me! Well except that I now love country music!!!

Verity - apart from listening to K92 FM its also great to get a chance to watch CMT (Country Music Television) over there!!

I used to be on their Viewers Panel when CMT Europe was in existence.

If she'd come over in the early days of her career I would have gone but she's pretty much out and out pop music these days. I bought her last album, listened to it once and then gave it away.

We always tune into XL106.7 and listen to Doc and Johnny every morning. The are absolutely bonkers. Just what you need to listen to on the way to the parks.

Expatscot- I love listening in the afternoon here, because it's the morning show and it always reminds me of driving to a theme park!!
