Review JW Marriott - Wonderful stay!

We took a quick trip to Orlando Sept 7-9. We got a fantastic AAA hot deals rate at the JW that included self parking, free breakfast at Citron, and a $25 daily resort credit. We paid less here than we would have at a Disney moderate resort! The resort is just beautiful! We were on the top floor- 26th- and had an amazing view!! The staff was stellar- very friendly and accommodating! Our breakfast buffet at Citron was great as well! I have many pictures to share!

We really enjoyed our stay here! It is a quick commute to Disney, Universal, and Sea World! Included in the daily resort fee is transportation to the parks. We had a car so did not use the shuttle service.

We will definitely look into staying here again when we can get a great rate!!

The room looks so big and very well appointed. To get all that for less than a moderate, literally minutes from the parks ... the plus of offsite!

It was so nice!! Yep- offsite deals are great!

And we had a REAL DND sign!!!

Me too. Just spent week at Embassy Suites LBV South. I stayed on points this trip. Real sign, with notes to use it, and on it use it. I even took pictures of it both sides.

When I got a detailed survey from them I explained how important it was to me and how Disney's new policy is very unsettling. I hoped they would continue to honor their guests privacy.

My breakfast was good for a free one but yours looked AMAZING!

It's funny- I didn't see the DND sign when we checked in. I was walking around the lobby and asked for one at the front desk. They said we will bring one right up to your room! I told them my son was taking a nap so just leave it on the door and don't disturb him. They did! and he was NOT disturbed! We were so happy there! and I bet a lot of hotels are getting questions about DND signs after all this Disney room check nonsense! But I have to say, on the positive side, we probably wouldn't have stayed at the JW if not for those crazy room checks. I may have went with a Disney resort and spent a day at a Disney park- all for more $$!!

I love Embassy Suites!! Nice breakfast and the evening snacks and drinks are great!

HAHA, I just got another email from Embassy Suites thanking me for my stay and to tell me I earned 1560 points. I stayed on points.

BUT I apparently got double points for the parking fee I paid ($10 a day, so still less than a Disney value).

Another offsite perk = POINTS!

Could you provide how you were able to obtain he free parking, breakfast and resort credit? When viewing the website I'm only able to obtain the AAA rate with my AAA member number - but would stay here for out Oct 20 1 night visit before stating on property if I am able to get those extras!

We got this under a AAA hot deals rate. I just checked 10/20 and the hot deals rate doesn't include those extras. If you're a Marriott rewards member, they have a rewards member package that does include free parking, free breakfast, and a $25 resort credit. The rates for October are much higher than our September deal. We paid $180/night for the room and it included the free parking, breakfast, and $25 room credit.

The value of the extras are: The parking is $28/night; the breakfast buffet is $32/each for adults, and the resort credit is $25 per night.

It IS a magnificent hotel with impeccable service. The rates do vary a lot! Sometimes you can get a really good deal here and other times can be pricey! But, if they're pricey, usually I've seen the other hotels are as well.
