We got our final proof for our favor cards from ReadyGo on Etsy:

I love the way they turned out! We also got an email today from DPS with our photographer assignment. We have been assigned Ty! He was one of my requests along with Regina, so I'm very happy and relieved. So much of the recent DPS work I have seen has been good, so I was trying not to worry too much about who we would be assigned to. I really like Ty's work and I'm looking forward to speaking with him soon.

In other news, Adam was offered a promotion today, yay!! Unfortunately we can't go out and celebrate tonight because I have to go to a fashion show fundraiser tonight called Strut for a Mutt, but we will celebrate tomorrow!!

Thank you! Another cool thing about that Etsy seller is that they donate a large portion of each sale they make concerning pets to a local animal shelter.

Made some head way this weekend. Went through our BEO and sent my planner an updated guest count and asked a bunch of random questions. I wanted to make sure I got everything ironed out before our final payment is due on the 21st.

I also reserved my Granny a scooter

Paid the balance for all of the hair and make up to Beaute Speciale.

Booked a cabana for our day at Discovery Cove

Paid off the honeymoon and booked a jeep

OOoooh a cabana I was thinking of doing that for our Blizzard Beach day I can't wait to hear about Discovery Cove!! It's on my bucket list for sure!!!

You're making great progress as you're getting so close!! So glad you got who you wanted for photography and the favor cards are so sweet! I hope your guests love them!! We are incorporating our chocolate lab by having a chocolate martini named after him as our signature drink!

I just asked Jilian too, are you freaking out being so close? Trying to prepare myself how this is going to play out... hahaha Did you have to ship anything down to Disney? Is everything packed up and ready to go? So exciting!!!

Quick Update: I can NOT believe we are like 3 weeks out! We leave in 18 days…yikes! We sent off our marriage license application. That was super easy, except that I kept forgetting to make a copy of my ID, duh! Finally remembered the other and got it mailed off. We found a photographer in St. Lucia to do our honeymoon session: http://www.mikaellamber.com/ We sent off the deposit for that the other day too.
I’ve made a couple of list that I am trying to chip away at each day, but nothing too big really. We have our final guest count at 25 people. It is a little smaller than we were originally anticipating, but I think it is going to be much more manageable and we’re saving a bit of money too! I have a phone conference with my planner on Monday to iron a few last minute details and now I’m just waiting for the final BEO so I can make our last payment….woohoo!!
Also, two weekends ago I went home to visit my parents and on Saturday my mom, Granny, and I went shopping for the wedding. We had super luck at the Dress Barn! My mom found a really nice dress and I found a cute dress for the welcome party and one just for kicking around on the honeymoon. My Granny found a nice pantsuit at an old lady store, so she was really happy too. Then last weekend Adam and I took his mom shopping and we found a really nice dress for her at Dillard’s, then we stopped by TJMaxx and found a bunch of cute clothes for every day wear.

Everything is seeming so real now. Before it was kind of like a dream or something far off in the future, but all of a sudden it is almost here. This weekend I am hoping to put the program together—my only DIY project of the whole wedding, lol. We are also planning to start packing up some wedding items and shipping them down to my MOH in Tampa. Wish me luck!

Thanks girl!! We are getting sooooooooooooooo excited!!! Still waiting for the marriage license to come in the mail, but that is the last "big thing" to take care of.

I can not believe we are now less than two week away from the big day. Staying focused at work is going to be so hard this week!! Monday will be very busy and I probably won't get home until after 9, which is good because then I can take off early Friday. I having a feeling the rest of the week will drag by.

I am just sooooooooo EXCITED!!!!

We packed up a whole bunch of stuff and mailed it down to my MOH in Tampa. I also sent my dress off to Carolynn Allen's.

Oh, and Thursday night I was online and I noticed that Jessica (Boston Disney Bride) had posted on the facebook Disvendors page that she was doing a few giveaways to help promote her business. Well, I love freebies so I responded, but I wasn't sure if I would be able to participate since we leave so soon.

I ended up choosing to have a times and info guide made along with a hidden mickey brochure and a handout of cool Disney trivia. She emailed me the pdfs within a day (wow) and they are perfect. Making a handout with transport times, etc was something on my "to do" list that kept getting pushed to the bottom so this was a real lifesaver for me. We had them all printed yesterday at Office Depot when we were mailing our boxes (which were too big for the post office--I didn't know the post office had size limits ). They turned out great, but I'm waiting to post pics until I get our welcome bags all assembled!

We also finished our DIY programs. This is the only DIY project I did and I'm glad because I seriously have no patience, lol. I am really happy with how they turned out and I'm really happy I only had to make 25. I found the template online, bought the cardstock at Paperandmore.com, and the eyelets somewhere online.

Wow, we leave in less than 48 hours!! I can't believe it! We've made two trips to Wally World today for "necessities." I doubt I get to post again before we leave--I'm working tomorrow and we leave Tuesday morning. My parents and granny are staying with us tomorrow evening. Thank you all so much for your support and encouragement throughout this wild ride!!
