What'cha gonna buy this weekend with your new found money!?

Me: I want a new couch so bad I can taste it! And I need a new mattress so bad, I can taste that too....

So, I'd go 'somewhere' for dinner. I'd get ribs - I love ribs... then I'd go get a new squishy mattress and a new squishy couch.

I might stop at Sephora and indulge my perfume fetish with the new summer Escada scent, too...

I'd go shopping, I need some new clothes. I think I'd also buy a new computer.

I'd either do something practical like add the landscaping island we've been talking about, or something utterly impractical like get on a plane to NJ to see DH.

Scratch that. DH was just here for almost three weeks. I'm putting DS on the plane to NJ to share some male bonding time with DH, and calling my friend Ellen to see what kind of trouble we can get into over the weekend LOL!

that last $1000 would go toward a family vacation...camping or to visit family in Maine

Well I would start by paying my vet bill for my cat I just picked up ($1,080.00)

Then I would put the money aside for my British Isles Cruise this summer...

I'd either use it towards the down payment on our new house that we are purchasing in a couple months or I would use it to pay the movers to move our stuff from California to Florida.

Since it is my DH's b-day today I would buy him a new computer.
And take the whole family to the Great Wolf Lodge (which is about 25 minutes from us) for one night.

I'd tell the money fairy to fly on down to WDW, and just leave the money under our name.

I would get the minor repairs done on dh's car. Then buy a new couch. If there were leftovers, they would go into the Disney fund

Well, we definitely need to redo our shower and tub so that would be part or maybe most of it. Then whatever's left would go for a nice family supper out somewhere.

By the way if you do know the money fairy, could you let her know she's welcome at my house anytime, even if I'm in my pjs!

* front load washer ($900)
*dryer ($400)
*computer ($1200--- NC Beast can build an awesome computer)


If it is just for something totally fun ---- $2000 tv and $500 XBOX 360 (whatever the most souped up version)

Hmmm. Would have to pay some bills but then would take about $1000 for our trip to WDW and just blow it on "fun stuff" that we couldn't normally afford. We're leaving in 43 days so I'll have time to come up with appropriate "fun things" but who's counting?

$2500 to spend this weekend?
I'd schedule myself and DH for a couples massage and skin treatment session at this posh place downtown.
We'd go to dinner someplace nice. I'd say Newport, but it's supposed to be crappy out so someplace local.
I'd do some shopping at Sephora and home depot for odds and ends (get a dyson) and I'd get DH the bigger fish tank and stand he found in the classifieds and the stuff that needs to go with it.

I'd buy the flat panel TV I want for the back of my closet door in my bedroom- call that 1500... probably another 200 for the bracket and cable etc etc

that'd leave me what 900...well in that case, I'd have to get a dvd player to go with it....then some DVD's i've been waiting to buy...anything left, I'd buy another down comforter since mine keeps leaving my bed and ending up with one of the DD's...

I'm boring, I'd send it off to finish paying my car off. That's roughly about what I owe on it.

We are getting $7000 back in taxes and that money is going back to buy my son his 1st used car. In May, my husband will get his bonus of between $7000 and $8000 and luckily, we've not got that spent yet.
