Just wondering what song you had for your 1st dance

We are dancing to Lovesong by 311.. We fell inlove with that song and it fits us both...:surfweb:

We have finally settled on "Beautiful" by Wayne Brady and Jim Brickman off the Disney love songs CD. It is just well..beautiful and a slight touch of disney not too disney if that makes sense.

We have preliminarily chosen "Beautiful" by Jim Brickman/Wayne Brady also. I am a huge Jim Brickman fan though so this was an easy decision for me!!

Our wedding song was "Sparks" by Coldplay. It was the first song we danced to when we first started dating.

Everyone here is probably much too young to know these songs, but my DH and I danced to Chicago's "Color My World" for our wedding (1976) and Phil Collins' version of "A Groovy Kind of Love" for our vow renewal. Cool thing was although I brought a CD to have it played at our VR, the violinist knew it and played along with the CD making it even more special!

Since you were brave. hehehe I'll tell mine. Again I'm sure noone will know this one. "Love's Grown Deep" by Kenny Nolan. We were married in 1982, but this was "our song" starting in 79. ... yes, that is 19 79 I bet most of you don't even know who Kenny Nolan is. Boy, do I feel old. Dh calls it experienced. Yah right.

In 1999, ours was "I finally found someone" by Barbara Streisand and Bryan Adams.

"color my world" was my parents wedding song in 1974. I love that song, I played it for them at my wedding.

LOVE....rendition by Nat King Cole...it goes..."L" is for the way you look at me.....my kids picked it out (2nd marriage obviously) its the first song you hear in the remake of "The Parent Trap" w/ Lindsay Lohan.

"So this is Love" From Cinderella.............

We used the Disney Classics "So this is Love" topper...had Cinderella invites, Thank You notes, programs, stickers on bubbles. Also used a Dream is a wish your heart makes for my bridal party entrance in to the wedding pavilion. Were engaged just out side the MK. Cinderella has special meaning to our relationship.

We also have a 2nd song....we were dancing to From this Moment when our surpise wedding guests arrived and interuped our dance.........Mickey and Minnie!

So we have a song that we might hear if we are out....and a song we hear when we are at Disney....maybe... WDW, DL, DLP or DCL ships!

We used "This Kinda Love" by Sister Hazel. I love love love Sister Hazel and this song is a really great one. Plus I really wanted the song we chose to be original and different from what everyone else would use....

I haven't picked mine out yet, but my sister used Amazed by Lonestar.

we're using "More Than Anyone" byt Gavin DeGraw

I LOVE that song!! DF and I are getting married in a little over a month now and I still don't know what song we're using! Even though I love Gavin I am an old school kinda girl at heart and grew up listening to Chicago, Journey, REO Speedwagon and Jefferson Airplane/Starship, etc. with my dad. :thumbsup2

I can't get enough of "More Than Anyone" the first time DFi and I listed to it together I just knew it had to be our song. Everytime I hear it I cry, lol. I had it as his ringtone when he called my cell, but then my phone died so time to go dl it again. I'm kind of worried about using this song if we get a band and not a DJ. DFi hates listening to bands sing other people's songs because he says they butcher them, but I don't think I want to listen to a record of that. Bah. Well I'v still got 20 months to figure it out :goodvibes
