We have PS's for Woody's Celebration on May 9th. Just wondering if there have been more people trying it out since they lowered the kids price.

We went last weekend, it was so good!!!! We loved it, ate until we were stuffed and then ate more. lol I think we would like it better if they made the cupcakes optional and charged less if you didn't get them. They aren't that great but the rest of the food....OMG, I've been craving that coleslaw since we got home! lol

Next time Pixie, take a doggie bag with you, so you can savor the coleslaw at home. :) Like I always say, if my purse is big enough, and I have left overs, it is going with me. he he! Seriously......

We were there this week and honestly never saw it more than half full, if that. I am guessing 1/4 to a 1/3 would be more accurate. Never saw any lines. The CM's out front looked bored. But if the prices werent so high we'd give it a try. Perhaps in june but just not sure at this point.

I will say that for about the same price our food at BB was quite a let down. So maybe this bbq isn't a bad choice after all.

Oh Gisele, I ate ALL of the coleslaw, none leftover!!! BUT we did have meat, cornbread and corn that we took home. :)

Don't you love them Zip-Loc bags? I have a messenger bag that is always stuffed with them bags so I can carry left overs and get a snack to munch on later.

We still plan to go next week but I haven't made PS and don't think I really need too...

Actually they gave us containers, even tho they aren't supposed to they did. So that was nice. :) But yes, Ziplocs are awesome!

No, you shouldn't need a PS, we walked up and were seated in about 10 minutes.

We were there last Saturday for lunch and it was about 1/4 full. The food was good, but the cupcakes weren't that great.

I was disappointed that they stopped giving away the kids loot bags.

You can still buy the loot bags, but since the dropped the kids price you don't get them for free. We asked DD9 but she didn't want one so we didn't get her one.

We were just there and it was really empty. Not even a 1/4 full. My kids got a lot of attention by the characters since it was so empty and that was the best part of it. The food was just alright for us. We are glad we did it once but we have no interest in doing it again and we don't think we would recommend it to others unless their kids are really into Woody and Jessie.

Hm, so far it does not sound too good for this BBQ being offered later in the year. :(

So it's only Woody and Jessie there now? At the beginning there were reports of other characters visiting, and the announcement seemed to hint at possible visits too.

We saw Woody, Jessie and Bullseye, then they had Miss Kris and a guitar player wandering around, when the guitar player left there was a piano player instead.

We had the exact opposite today :confused3. There were no more than 2-3 empty tables at any given time (We were there from 12-1:30pm). Most others didn't stay as long as we did but our server was slow and my kids were really enjoying the show. But I would say they were at least 75% full for the hour and a half we were there.

We had interaction with Jessie and Woody, and Bullseye did part of the shows. There was a guitar player, and then a piano player. Chip and Dale entered and exited through the area, and stopped and played catch in front of my kids when we were at the petting zoo, but it wasn't really interaction. During the show they let the kids come up on stage and dance with Miss Chris and Woody, and that made my DD's day. The food was good, and I really thought the cupcakes were awesome. We got to pick which kind we wanted. I have a bunch of photos too, I'll share once I get them uploaded if anyone is interested.

I really thought it was great, and would gladly do it again for the experience, not to mention the awesome food!! :thumbsup2

My only suggestion (to the Disney folks who may or may not be following along ;)) is that as the mom of a picky eater, I wish there were a kid food option. My kids ate some chicken but I had to peel the skin off and make sure there was no sauce on it. It would be nice to have hot dogs or mac and cheese and watermelon slices or something as an option for them. As it is we definitely didn't get our money's worth on the food, since my kids only ate cornbread and chicken. But if there were hot dogs, mac and cheese, or something, they would have had more to eat. But I would still do it again for the entertainment and the food that I enjoyed.

This is why my family won't be doing this meal, despite the fact that I absolutely love Toy Story! Given my druthers, this would be the character meal we'd do this trip. However, my 13 year old is picky and all he'd eat is cornbread and the dessert. If I could pay the kiddy price for him, I'd do it.

I just can't see paying that kind of money for cornbread and cupcakes!
