I just was curious to find out if Disney will be as crowded during the week of Thanksgiving. We of course have not cancelled our plans. Staying at BWV Nov. 18-24th. We just had family visit Disney World and was told there was still very little lines for rides. I am kind of hoping that the first part of the week will be slower than usual. So by thursday when the locals have vacation we can kind of stay away from the parks as Im sure it will be SO packed at all the parks. We will be at the ESPN club to watch the Bucks game Sunday, so if I see any green ribbons Ill say hello.:smooth:

I surely didn't cancel. In fact my DW just told me the kids only have halfdays on the 19 & 20th. If I would have known that, I would have gone down on the 17th instead! No reasonable flights left.

We cancelled the first part of the week to go on the 4-day Disney Wonder (on points). So although we won't be at WDW until 11/22, we're stilling Dineying!!

:D

I was told by someone at the executive offices of WDW that bookings are like usual for Thanksgiving and Christmas this year.....so it seems that at least for those times people aren't cancelling.

Based on my experiances with MS the last few weeks, I would say that there have been some cancellations. We had our vacation booked months ago (because the kids have half days on the 18th and 19th!), but at WL. It was only the last few weeks that we were able to switch a lot of the days to BW. Only a week to go!

I know that everytime I call CRO I get the story that all resorts are booked for T-Giving - but then again - you keep calling and you can get rooms ... so it's like even though people are cancelling - the rooms are re-booking - so I think it will be the usual heavy crowds T-Giving day through Sat (possibly Sun) and then should hopefully taper off ...... :)

Hey our waitlist came through for T-Giving day so SOMEONE had to cancel!!! :)

We arrive the day after Thanksgiving (Friday the 23rd) and stay until Dec. 2nd. This is our first trip "Home" and since it has been planned since last December there's no way we would cancel. I just thought it would never get here and now it's only 12 days, 13 hours, 19 minutes and 29 seconds away!! WOO HOO! Can't wait! :D :D
