Just wondering.....has anyone ever taken a bottle of wine/champagne in their carry-on

I was just curious if it is a no-no. I realize it can't be in the luggage without being broken but is it allowed on a carry-on with all of the airport surveillance and everything? Anybody know??

Should be no problem. We do it all the time. Also they make boxes to carry on at least 6 bottles of wine.

I, too have taken wine in my carryon several times with no problem.

i've carried on champagne before without a problem. however i did get id'd, so if you're not over 21, i wouldn't.
