Just Won Mickey Mom's Club In Home Party

Congrats on your win. I'm going to move this over to the happy dance board.

Yippee!! I heart Disney and I am so pleased to have won this, too! This will be a fun activity for those of us who are tired of this blah weather we've been having as of late. Great way to swing into spring!

Also, we are headed to WDW the first week of May, so this will be just perfect to get us in the Disney mood!!:woohoo: :yay: :cheer2:

No i'm not a member, I just found out about this club a few months ago, and when i checked the site the application process had ended. Anybody know when they start to take apps. ? When did everybody sign up for the MMC?

Anybody?

Snow White,

As far as I know, you had to enter the contest to become one of the moms on the Mom's panel. That's how I got access to the site and the contest.

Maybe they are limiting members because they don't want to have to give away too many magnets? Last year when I entered, I got a couple pins and some other cool stuff. This year, for my entry, I got a magnet. :lmao:

Another winner here woo hoo :cool1: :cool1: I am so excited since I never ever win anything!! My luck is starting to change :yay: :yay:

As one of the Dad's I also won.... Still waiting on my box to arrive... :yay:

Add me to the list! Our party will come at the perfect time to celebrate my DS's 2nd birthday on April 11th! How convenient! Especially since his room and bathroom is in Mickey "stuff"! Yippee!!! I hope my box comes tomorrow!

I dont think I got an email...but I did receive a car magnet with "Mickey Mom Club" on it.

Anyone have their party yet? I just wrapped mine up. It was a little tough to get the moms/dads with it being the beginning, competing with t-ball, football, cubscouts and dance classes on a Saturday, but I fared okay with four moms and 8 kids. Wish I could've gotten a few more, but it made the party more intimate.

I'm also wondering what kind of party ideas and themes people used. Mine was centered around Mickey, but I added some princess stuff in there for the feminine party-goers. I used the fizzy punch, and made the Animal Kingdom Lodge's banana bread recipe, except I spread the batter in a bigger pan to make flatter bread, then used a Mickey head cookie cutter. They turned out great! I purchased some of the Mickey head shaped cheese slices from Walmart and put them on Ritz crackers (wish those came in Mickey shapes, too!), bought the Disney Princess and Cars shaped graham crackers, and got some Disney picks to put in cupcakes.

I displayed all our Disney World photo albums, pin collections, water park mugs and medals (Big Kahuna and Ski Captain), pressed penny collectiions, etc. I had Disney movie songs playing from our Ipod as people showed up, too, to put us all in the mood.

I thought the party kit that Mickey Moms Club was well supplied with activities and ideas, plus the website was helpful, too. For the bingo markers I cut out the 1x1 squares with construction paper and used a Mickey stamp on the fronts. The kids all LOVED the bingo game. I loved seeing all my favorite places, characters and things to do right there in a managerie! The Mickey ears party hats were so cute, too. Boys and girls of all ages liked those.

So, what have you others done or plan to do? I'm all "ears!"

I am having mine during spring break which is this week. I do daycare, so we are doing it on one of the days all the kids will be home. For the bingo, I have a mickey head punch, which I punched out mickey heads in all different colors for the markers. We are going to make picture frames out of Popsicle sticks and I punched out black, red and yellow mickey heads, out of foam board, that we are going to clue on, and add some glitter, and their names. I am baking mickey head cookies, that they get to decorate. I am going to make Mickey head necklaces out of bakers clay that they can paint. It should be fun. I had all the parents fill out their DVD card this week.

Does anyone know how to get the car magnet that comes in the kit? I have been a member since the begining and never got one of those welcome kits. Does anyone know how I can get a hold of who I need to contact so when I drive around I can advertise I am a member also? I can get on the website and sign in just fine, I even get the e-mails just never got the kit!:confused3:sad2:

Help Please

I too just received the email saying I won. Mine will be here by April 19th and the party has to be done by May 16th. I will do mine with my son's classroom. He is in a special class for Autism and this would be a great, fun party to have for the end of school. Oh, the last day is May 20th for us. I am surprised I won, but so excited.

Planning our 4th trip to the World-Dec 9-16, 2010. Staying at the new Bay Lake Tower!! First time to be there during the Holidays and can't wait!!!::MickeyMo::MinnieMo:mickeyjum:goofy::donald::ccat:
