Me beagle Jamie sleeps in the bed with me everynight, if I go for a nap she is right there. DH calls her a joiner..... She put's her head right on the pillow and is covered from the next down. DD tells us that Jamie thinks she is a human!

So where does your pet sleep??

My cat usually sleep in our bed. She's there with us at night and that's where she naps during the day, mostly.

Jazz, our flat coated retriever sleeps on 1 of his 2 beds. One located in the family room and the other at the foot of my bed. Tigger and Pooh, our 10 month old kittens, (they are brothers) sleep wherever they want!! Usually with Jazz or in the kids beds.

Dot has her own bed in her own room :) She was kennel trained from day one and it works for us. I am sure she would love to sleep in my bed, but DH would not like it ;)

Monty used to sleep in our bed. But since we got our puppy, Dodger, Monty sleeps in the puppy room with him. I have a feeling, when Dodger is trained enough to come onto the bed, they'll both take over...

They also both have their own kennels which they like to go into (like their own little houses) and a bunch of beds around.

Mika, our dog, sleeps on the waterbed with us and Goldie our newest kitten is in and out of our bed all night unless I leave DD's door open...then she sleeps with DD. Ashes , our other cat, sleeps on top of the freezer in the basement. Go figure !

Dog sleeps under the bed...where he farts too.

we have a cat at the foot of the bed, one in the bathroom on the tub, one on the chair in the bedroom...that's it for my room.

coco sleeps cuddled with "mommy" at night, or on our feet, during t he day she is either on the kitchen table in front of the heater, or on the back of hte couch. ( currently back of couch)

shadow sleeps stretched along side me on bed, or at my feet or in bathroom floor along front of washer( in the way) in the laundry basket or in t he floor at the front of the tv so he can be center of attenion, curls on couch cushion underneath where coco is sleeping,, ( pretty much where ever his fat self plops)

angel sleeps either in her dog house in the yard or under the deck.

Just about anywhere he wants to sleep :teeth:

Well, during the day, he pretty much naps where he wants, although he has a few favorite spots...behind DH's chair in the den is one of them. I also think if we are not home, he gets up on the loveseat every once in an occasional while, because when I get home form work, the pillows are on the floor and there is tell-tale dog hair on the loveseat! LOL!

At night, he sleeps in his crate in the basement. We got Ted when he was 10 months old, and his previous owners had him sleep in a crate in the basemnt, so we figured that to keep as many things the same as possible (since he was going through big changes having to live with new popel!) we'd keep him in the basement. He loves his crate, and will sometimes go down there and lay in it voluntarily if there is too much "comotion" for him upstairs!

My ex and I had 2 dogs...a chocolate lab and an irish setter (both large dogs...over 70lbs each)...and they would sleep in our queen size bed with us!!!

Now, I live alone with my cat and he sleeps in the recliner in my bedroom

Ginger (15) and Tucker (2) sleep downstairs in the family room, inside their crates. They used to sleep with us, until Ginger started to have accidents due to age. So, now they have a moonlit night's view from their crates.

And we have lots of room!

:goodvibes

Spencer-Golden Retreiver-sleeps in his bed on the floor on my side of the bed. Jake-Keeshond-sleeps next to him, on the floor. He is too hot for any type of bed. Laila the cat sleeps between my legs. yep.

Our Rhodesian Ridgeback sleeps on her own bed in the utility room.
She has never been allowed upstairs or in the dining room or on any of the furniture.

Now, where did we go wrong with the kids?

Bubba (blue doberman) and Reebok (black Lab) both sleep in the bed with us. (Yes, we had to get a kingsize bed to accomodate them!)

Milo and Cammie (Keeshonden) sleep on the floor... As Beastlover said, they get too hot to sleep on the furniture. Milo gets on the bed sometimes if he is feeling cuddly.

We have a wooly pet bed that Cammie likes to lay on every once in awhile, but she doesn't stay too long. She is old so she is pretty darn cute all snuggled up on that bed.

We also have a crate in our room that is pretty large. Right now Reebok AND Bubba are in there curled up together. (Yes, over 170 pounds of dogs in there!)

Lucy the cat sleeps on the bed mostly, too.

Quite a little brood we have!

Sebastian our 12 1/2 year old Standard Poodle sleeps with us on the bed. He has since he was a puppy.

Winslow our 6 1/2 year old Standard Poodle sleeps on his orthopedic dog bed on the floor at the foot of our bed.

We also have two orthopedic dog beds in the living room and one in the computer room. They can choose where they want to sleep/nap during the day.

I used to have a long haired grey tabby cat named Misty who would sleep around my neck at night. She has since passed on to cat heaven.

She sleeps wherever she wants provided it isn't outside (not allowed out after dark, period) or on top of a counter top or the kitchen table. Usually, she sleeps in my bed with me in my arms.

My pugs are generous enough to let me sleep on the big bed in the master bedroom.

Harley sleeps between us - has since day 2. I wouldn't have it any other way now, gosh I love that furry baby of mine. =)
