Just when you thought you've seen all the MAGIC! **See Page 95 for PTR!!!!**

that is truely a very magical moment for you all! our Princess Ana is famous!

we love Wishes too and I always get teary eyed listening to the music!

Seriously, what are the odds that you were able to get the photo of Ana's pic on the castle?! :thumbsup2 That really is a perfectly magical moment.

I absolutely love Wishes too! It's my favorite, too, but I have to say that the new castle show is a close second. It's amazing. Those two shows together - perfect way to end a night in Disney.

How magical having Ana's picture on the castle and even more magical that you were able to take a picture of it. It was definitely fitting for your little princess to be shown on the castle.

Unfortunately, we were behind 5 rows of people, so we threw the kids on on shoulders and watched as each colorful float came up Main St. and passed us.

Did you throw them your own shoulders, or somebody else's? :confused3 :rotfl:

The lights dimmed and the music started. We were in awe at the designs and pictures on the castle. About 2 minutes in, I needed to take a few pictures of the castle... all of the sudden, all of our friends started screaming. Juliana's picture was on the castle!!!!! We couldn't believe it!!!

:woohoo::cool1::banana:

That's awesome! And I love how Juliana wanted her friend up there as well. :goodvibes

Even cooler! Nice job with the camera work! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

I had chills. I showed everyone the picture and they couldn't believe I was able to get it. What are the chances? I mean the picture was up there for 5-8 seconds. There was no way to see the castle, realize it was Juliana, turn the camera on, and try to take the picture. Having the picture on the castle was MAGIC. Just when you thought you've seen all the magic and finding that picture on my camera was pure DISNEY MAGIC at it's best. We have had many great Disney memories, but this is one we will never forget for the rest of our lives.

Simply amazing.

Your fireworks pictures really look great, too! Who needs a tripod? I thought some of those shots were terrific.

Thanks for such a great story!

WOW! I love this TR! I normally lurk here but I had to tell you that I cried when I saw the picture on the castle! You have a beautiful family and I can't wait for the rest.

Lisa

That's awesome Tim! I'm so glad you were able to capture that moment...obviously some Magic was in play. pixiedust:

Looks like I'm a few updates behind, but I had to make sure I popped on here to say how cool it is that you snapped that picture! :thumbsup2

Oh wow, Tim, that was just fantastic! What an amazing stroke of Luck (?) to have timed it just right and have that little, ok, very large, piece of Disney Cool!

What a great update :)

You got some fantastic pictures of the castle and the fireworks during Wishes, :thumbsup2 but that is totally awesome and amazing that you happened to be taking pictures at the exact moment our beloved Princess Juliana was adorning the Castle! What a special, special Disney moment that I'm sure will be in your thoughts the rest of your lives, every time you stand in the MK and look at the castle, especially during Wishes! :goodvibes

Great update and great pictures! Especially the one of the princess on her castle. Gave me goosebumps reading about it and seeing the picture. That is incredible!:thumbsup2

What amazing magic you had!! :yay:

Poor Anna, crying because her friend wasn't up there. :sad1: What a sweet little heart she has, she wasn't thinking of anyone but her friend. You're rasing a good little girl there. :thumbsup2 I'm sure I'm not telling you anything new. :goodvibes

Don't you love how they are imposing all the new, cool, lights onto the Castle?!? They have a gingerbread house theme for this time of the year and I'm sure others. :)
I sure hope they keep the memories theme going, I don't want to miss out on seeing it. More importantly....I'm hoping my mom will get to come with me.

So worth waiting for!!!!!! :cool1:

Or maybe you can just write them for me. I bet I would update more often if you did it for me! ::yes::

That's awesome! And I love how Juliana wanted her friend up there as well.
She was so cute... crying because Victoria wasn't on there with her. :sad1:

Even cooler! Nice job with the camera work!
Thanks!!!! It was a lucky shot!

Your fireworks pictures really look great, too! Who needs a tripod? I thought some of those shots were terrific.
Ask Barry how I do it... kid in one hand, camera in the other! LOL

Thanks for such a great story!
Thanks for reading! I still have 3 days left... wonder if I should just scrap the rest of this report. :confused3

I saw you posted an update too.... I need to getta reading! :surfweb:

Thank you Marv! I was so lucky to be taking the pic at that exact second. I just love Disney!

I wish I was taping it. I scoured youtube for a few months looking for a video of it. I would of loved to have that!

Great update and great pictures! Especially the one of the princess on her castle. Gave me goosebumps reading about it and seeing the picture. That is incredible!:thumbsup2
Thanks Andy! Your mission next week is to get your family on the castle. Take tons of photopass pics and be silly! popcorn::popcorn::

What amazing magic you had!!

Hey there Millie! :wave2:

Poor Anna, crying because her friend wasn't up there. :sad1: What a sweet little heart she has, she wasn't thinking of anyone but her friend. You're rasing a good little girl there. :thumbsup2 I'm sure I'm not telling you anything new. :goodvibes
Thank you for saying that.. she was sad but got over it pretty quickly. I thought Victoria would be crying because she wasn't on the castle with Juliana, but she wasn't.

Don't you love how they are imposing all the new, cool, lights onto the Castle?!? They have a gingerbread house theme for this time of the year and I'm sure others. :)
Yes I heard! Now I wanna go see it!!!!
I sure hope they keep the memories theme going, I don't want to miss out on seeing it. More importantly....I'm hoping my mom will get to come with me.
I know your mom will be able to go with you! You guys will have an amazing time!!! :grouphug:

Oh Tim what a memory!!I have not seenthe show yet, but Dan said they caught it in October and it was fantastic !!! It's on my list for next year !!

Oh my WORD! Even though I already knew Ana's picture was the big secret, (Kathy told me becaue I knew I could not wait months and months to find out, looks like I was right!) I'm still blown away. Do you think she has any idea just how utterly famous she is??:goodvibes How very caring and sensitive of her too to be upset that Victoria's picture wasn't up with hers, what an angel baby you have! Her picture on the castle really brought a tear to my eye Tim, thank you so much for sharing that special moment with us. It's just beautiful, I love her sunshine-y face smiling from the front of the castle! And how providential that you captured it! Good job Tim!! Sheesh, this isn't the first time you made me cry in one of your TR's!:goodvibes So glad you enjoyed Wishes too, it's my all time fav as well. It still gives me a tiny little chill when that sweet little girl's voice starts singing "starlight, starbright, first star I see tonight..":goodvibes

Sigh, I totally hear ya on the GF cakes! We ordered a massive cake for my oldest DD's 9th b-day (she's turning 12 today, ack!) and it was exactly as you described...beautiful but tasteless. I think Costco makes a better tasting cake than the ones there. I think I have a pic on the cake thread...

See, doesn't it look like it should taste good but once we cut into it, it was so very dry, crumbly and tasteless. And it was $100 plus tax!:headache: Lesson learned.

Back to your GF update...I would've been peeved too if my waitress refused me a birthday candle. They let us light one on my DD's there at 1900 PF, so weird that she told you no.:confused3 Lame. Glad you bucked the system and found a willing waitress!:thumbsup2 And Ana looks absolutely thrilled with her cake!:goodvibes What a beautiful birthday princess.princess:

What an amazing trip. I'm glad I stuck it out here too...:rolleyes1 Not that you've been behind with the updates or anything. I mean really, it's only been what, eight months or so since your trip?;) Careful, or soon people will be confusing you with Marv and well, that's NOT nice!

Aww! What a moment. Thanks.
...and yes, we will still be reading so your not off the hook yet.:goodvibes

What was a dad to do? No, not roll up a napkin and make a torch to stick on the cake, but to ask another waitress who was more than happy to find us a candle! Now, don't get me wrong, our waitress was nice about the candle issue and was great throughout dinner, but I think she got annoyed that we got a candle from someone for the cake.

Here is when Juliana saw the cake.

The cake...

DSC01858.jpg

Up next- The moment you all have been waiting for? Maybe?????
First :lmao::rotfl2: at the idea of you rolling up a napkin. I like that idea. you could have stuck it in the beer bottle!!!

Funny how some servers can be a little bit unflexible!

The cake does look pretty, and I was wondering a) if the white was fondant or white chocolate and b) how much they soaked you for that puppy:laughing:

Fondant is yucky (except mine because I make it with marshmallow but still the texture is eewww) but it did look nice. Lesson learned - stick a candle in the ice cream. I remember that big sundae dish and it was yummy.

glad you all had fun, looks like the Steps were fun --they are the best characters! so unpredictable in their silly snarkiness!

Oh Tim what a memory!!I have not seenthe show yet, but Dan said they caught it in October and it was fantastic !!! It's on my list for next year !!
Rosie, it is a must see! AWESOME is the only word to describe it! (well I'm sure there are more words but you know what I mean!) :lmao:

Oh my WORD! Even though I already knew Ana's picture was the big secret, (Kathy told me becaue I knew I could not wait months and months to find out, looks like I was right!) I'm still blown away. Do you think she has any idea just how utterly famous she is??
Kathy told you??? :headache: :lmao:

It was a moment that we will never forget.

Am I up for an award for making you cry the most? I hear there are a lot of these 'type' of awards being handed out. :rolleyes1

I get a chill hearing that voice too. Especially when Juliana is singing it too. These are the moments you have to cherish. They will grow out of them soon enough. :sad1:

Yup. Sounds like our cake. Happy Birthday to your DD!!!! She missed the COOL day to have a birthday. Nov 16th is so much better! (my birthday was yesterday ;);))

I know this is the longest a TR has ever taken me. I do have a lot of excuses... :rolleyes1

Aww! What a moment. Thanks.

Thank you! Good to know I'll have at least 1 reader! :rotfl::rotfl:
