Just when you thought you've seen all the MAGIC! **See Page 95 for PTR!!!!**

What that did was create a seating logistic nightmare. We asked to speak with the manager and come to find out you can't have more than 10 seated together, but the girl at the desk didn't tell us that. We would of just kept our ADRs as is.

Uh oh. I guess you'd have to sit on the floor. Occupy 1900 Park Fare!

The stepsisters were so funny. They were screaming across the room at each other causing a scene. Their mother had to reprimand them a few times.

Love it when the characters are on their A games. That's what makes Disney, Disney.

Lady Tremaine was great- never breaking character once. She had a few snarky comments to both Juliana and Victoria about wearing those dresses. LOL

:lmao::rotfl2:

I asked our waitress again about a candle and she said she couldn't do it.

I guess all I can say is: :confused3

Sounds like you worked out an alternate solution just fine. Macgyver would be proud.

Happy Birthday time w/ candle and a Yuengling?

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

Overall it tasted like I was eating crisco right from the container.

Where's that barfing smiley? I'll have to find that one.

Pie > cake :rolleyes1

:woohoo: another update!
See, I'm picking up the pace a bit.... just in time for this TR to end! LOL

Now why didn't the gal at the podium tell you they couldn't seat more than 10 at a table. I just don't understand the lack of communication.
I'm thinking it is like this at every restaurant? Maybe I should have been a good DISer and known this 'rule'?:confused3

The girls all looked so cute with the evil stepsisters and Prince Charming and Cinderella. And, of course, Ana looks absolutely beautiful...sorry Cindy, but Ana is the true star.
Thanks!!!! I think she is a star too!!! ::yes::

$80 for a cake with a discount. I think you should save that money and buy extra shoes for Ana next time.
LOL... I think you are right!

I'm going to have a :headache: if the next update is NOT the one we've all been waiting for.
Well it is the next update... the question is did I actually get the picture? :confused3

Mmm, that ice cream looks good!
It was good... everyone had some with to wash down the crisco! :lmao::lmao:

:headache: Gotta love a lack of communication.
Wouldn't it of just been easier to let us know first? Then we could of said forget it and then they could of just sat us 9 & 4 near each other. :confused3

I really think that would be a fun meal to go to. Maybe we'll get there one of these days.
The stepsisters are a riot! They are hilarious!

That would have been awesome. At least until the fire alarm went off and the sprinklers gave everybody a shower.
Now that would make for great TR material! :rotfl2:

Yes, now you, and all your TR readers, know his important detail for future reference!
I hope you've been taking notes. ;)

What? You're finally going to get down to business and finish writing this thing?
Not too sure about that, but I am getting to the post about my teaser in the 1st post of this TR! :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

good that they were able to get you in together....what difference does is make how many people are at one table :confused3 just squish them together people!
I guess they can't fit over 10 at the table? Or they don't want to move tables around? :confused3

the kids look like they had a blast with the characters! I agree, the steps are such fun to interact with!
It was a great meal with great interaction! We like being able to sit down for a while and chill out after a busy day in the park.

wow that's quite the cake! sorry is didn't taste good....fondant is not very good most of the time...when we went in April I ordered a cake from the Contemporary with butter cream frosting, was so yummy and moist! and it was $75....didn't have all the extra decorations, just one of those photo imprints on it.
I wish I had butter cream frosting... or anything else that didn't taste like I was eating grease. :crazy2:

Wait till I post another cake we ate this trip... fondant and all was YUMMY!!!!;)

I am hoping for "the update" next too, you have kept us waiting much to long :lmao:popcorn::
Well, I had to try to keep some of the readers here... :surfweb:

Uh oh. I guess you'd have to sit on the floor. Occupy 1900 Park Fare!
Sorry, those protests hadn't started in March! :lmao:

Love it when the characters are on their A games. That's what makes Disney, Disney.
::yes::

Sounds like you worked out an alternate solution just fine. Macgyver would be proud.
Forget Macgyver, I hope to make the DIS Dads proud! :rotfl2:

Where's that barfing smiley? I'll have to find that one.

Two updates in the space of a week! Wow I'm impressed! :thumbsup2

That cake looks amazing even if it didn't taste amazing..

I can't believe Juliana and that Yuengling...I had her pegged for a Guinness Stout kind of girl. ;)

That whole candle-thing was kind of weird. I can understand if they have a rule, but if there are candles on cakes on at least two other tables....:confused3

What a great cake even if it tasted like it was for display only.

Sorry that 1900PF was all a cluster that night. Maybe they were training newbies? :confused3

Never heard no more than 10 at a table. Candle , no candle?

Sorry you had all that drama.

The big moment - coming up - really?!!?!?! :surfweb: I am waiting. ;)

There was a teaser??? Man, I need the Cliff's Notes so I can review this thing. :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:
Believe me, I've had to go back and read what I've wrote too. :lmao::lmao:

Wow Alex's makeup from the Pirate's League looks really cool. Did he enjoy the experience?
He did and Dave did too. They both said they would do it again in an instant. HE was loving all the attention the CMs and even the princesses gave him!!pirate:

I'm trying! :rotfl:

That cake looks amazing even if it didn't taste amazing..
It was beautiful... but I think rather pay for taste! :lmao::lmao:

It must be a DIS Dad thing. :confused3:confused3:confused3
HEY!!!!! :headache:

I can't believe Juliana and that Yuengling...I had her pegged for a Guinness Stout kind of girl. ;)
Oh, she likes an array of different beers.... :drinking1

That whole candle-thing was kind of weird. I can understand if they have a rule, but if there are candles on cakes on at least two other tables....:confused3
That was my thinking. I have no problem abiding by the rules, but when more than 1 person had a candle, I wasn't going to be denied! :lmao::lmao:

What a great cake even if it tasted like it was for display only.
Maybe I could of just rented it for a few pictures? :confused3 :rotfl2:

Sorry that 1900PF was all a cluster that night. Maybe they were training newbies? :confused3
I think the noobs follow me around. :lmao:

Never heard no more than 10 at a table. Candle , no candle?

Sorry you had all that drama.
Just like the noobs, I think the drama follows me around too. :lmao:

The big moment - coming up - really?!!?!?! :surfweb: I am waiting. ;)
So I hear..... :tilt:

Lady Tremaine and the stepsisters look like they are hillarious! Perhaps even more fun than the regular princesses? :lmao:

The cake was gorgeous, but I'm sorry it didn't taste better. I often find that with "bakery" type cakes; they might look good but the taste can be lacking. Too bad. But again...beautiful and I'm sure Juliana loved it!

We had just gotten back to MK after Juliana's birthday dinner at the Grand Floridian and the crowds were lined up for MSEP, which was only minutes away from starting. As we walked up Main St. towards the castle, I was amazed how organized it was. Everyone was sitting along the street waiting for the parade and the walkways were clear, which was a plus when you are pushing a stroller. We made it to the Walt statue and tried to find a good spot to see the parade. Unfortunately, we were behind 5 rows of people, so we threw the kids on on shoulders and watched as each colorful float came up Main St. and passed us.

I was able to take 1 picture of the parade with my cell phone to post on facebook.

Once the parade ended, we turned around and we were in the perfect spot for Wishes, my favorite show in all of Disney.

It was 20 minutes till Wishes when there was an announcement that the new show, the Magic, the Memories, and You was about to begin. I saw a few short clips on youtube but I wasn't sure what to expect.

The lights dimmed and the music started. We were in awe at the designs and pictures on the castle. About 2 minutes in, I needed to take a few pictures of the castle... all of the sudden, all of our friends started screaming. Juliana's picture was on the castle!!!!! We couldn't believe it!!!

Juliana couldn't believe it either! But instead of being happy she started crying. Melody asked her what was wrong. Juliana said she was sad that Victoria wasn't on the castle. AWWWWWW I felt bad but she got over it quickly.

After a few more minutes, I remembered I was taking pictures of the castle at about the same time Juliana's picture was on there. What were the chances I actually took a picture of the castle while Juliana's picture was on there. I started scrolling through the pictures and I saw this:

DSC01873.jpg

That is Juliana on the left hand side. They used this picture from the BBB photo shoot earlier in the day.

Photo0395FourBySix.jpg

I had chills. I showed everyone the picture and they couldn't believe I was able to get it. What are the chances? I mean the picture was up there for 5-8 seconds. There was no way to see the castle, realize it was Juliana, turn the camera on, and try to take the picture. Having the picture on the castle was MAGIC. Just when you thought you've seen all the magic and finding that picture on my camera was pure DISNEY MAGIC at it's best. We have had many great Disney memories, but this is one we will never forget for the rest of our lives.

I snapped a few more pictures of the Magic, the Memories, and You show....

I might be a little swayed, but the show on the castle was amazing. If you haven't seen it yet, you have to. It is awesome.

Next up was Wishes- my favorite show in all of Disney. It was going to be such a treat watching it with our friends and especially Hannah and Lizzie who have never seen it before. It wasn't long till it started.

We were standing in the hub just to the right of the Walt statue. Then that music started that brings a tear to my eye every time I hear it. Juliana was singing too.

The kids were in awe when Tinkerbell flew from the castle-

The finale...

DSC01899.jpg

It was over... and everyone loved the show. Even Lizzie who doesn't really care for fireworks loved it! One of these days, when the kids are older, I'd love to get pictures of Wishes with my camera on a tripod.

The masses started heading for the exits, but we just stood there for a few minutes planning what our next move would be. Dave's family was going to try and hit more rides so we said bye to them. Bill's family was leaving in the morning to drive back to CT so they started heading towards the exit. Juliana kept asking over and over if we could go on 1 more ride. I asked her what ride and she said PIRATES! I couldn't say no, so off we went....

DSC01901.jpg

Once again, Capt'n Jack ended up with all the booty! I just don't know how he does it!!!

We grabbed the stroller and headed toward the exit. We weren't even out of AdventureLand when the princess was passed out. In front of the castle the crowds were thinning and while we were walking down Main St. we spotted Bill, Jamie and the girls. They hadn't made it out yet because they stopped in a few stores for some last minute souvenirs. We left the Magic Kingdom together.

Before getting on the bus... Cinderella turned into Sleeping Beauty....

DSC01902.jpg

It was an amazing magical night in the Magic Kingdom. Once back at POP, I helped Bill load a few things into his car. We said goodbye to our friends, since they would be gone in the am.

Up next..... Epcot!

Okay, even though I knew this story, I have tears rolling down my cheeks. This is just PURE Disney magic and couldn't happen to a more beautiful Princess.

I'm with you, Tim, Wishes is my favorite show.

Thank you for sharing this special evening with us.

The cake was disappointing but it was something I wanted to do for her. princess:

Thank you Kat. It was truly an amazing night. I never thought or imagined her picture would be on that castle.
