Just when you thought you've seen all the MAGIC! **See Page 95 for PTR!!!!**

Wish this was an evening I could read ALL the in-between, but this update just hit me at an incredibly busy time. Our dresses for the ball are still not done, and we have mere hours left now. :scared1:

But I can tell you I absolutely loved logging on and having visions of mac. nut, pineapply good pancakes. YUM! Sho' loved those!

YOu should have asked the guy why he never learned to drive. :confused3 Seems like a good comeback to me....

Great poncho pix! Gotta have at least a few of those in every trip!

I don't blame you one bit. What were those people thinking? This is your baby and you do what YOU have to do to keep her healthy. I just don't understand people sometimes.

Here! Here! Some people are more worried about what they feel rather than what's the reality of the situation. It's such a toxic way to be, life is too short to be around people like that.
Try some compassion people! Put others before yourself, it's a good way to be, try it! :) That's what I would have said to these "family," members who were offended for protecting your baby. :sad2:

I still haven't been able to eat at KONA's during breakfast, but I'll probably get a chance here soon...I hope. :lovestruc

The girls did look cute! I hope the rest of your day goes great, with no rain and no one running you down with their car.

Loved this update too!!! The pic of the girls walking into the Polynesian made me a little teary in a good way - reminded me of some little ones walking in for their first time 30 years ago this August on our first trip, and first stay of many at the then Polynesian Village. Precious!

I don't know about you folks and the non Disney ponchos!!! ;) Maybe I'm a purest, but it just feels so wrong to wear anything but a Disney poncho (even though the things have gotten pretty cheaply made). I still have 4 in a drawer, 2 from the 25th Celebration...or was it the 20th? Anyway, are the ones Disney sells still bright yellow? If this yr is the 4oth anniversary I may have to beg someone to pick one for me, since I will not be back until December 2012 (with Rosie for our BIG celebration!!:cool1:)

Kathy said it perfectly! I don't understand such people either.:grouphug:

My thoughts exactly !!For my 65th trip I am going to KONA ,if Christine lets me !!!!:rotfl2:

:rotfl: Um, Rosie, me thinks that would be OUR 65th?! :thumbsup2 Yep, Rosie wants me to go back to my HOME resort, which we cannot afford for our BIG celebration, so she can finally have breakfast at Kona (where are the violins when I need them? lol)!!! Yes, yes, yes, of course we will - but Rosie will have to endure a tour to see every room we ever stayed in! :yay:

Tim, I'm glad you mentioned an 8:15 adr for Kona b/c I'd like to get there early, then take the water launch to the MK...reading that your drove reminded me we can grab a cab!

Great update - love the pics!!!

It will also be my first visit to Polynesion this August for O'Hanas !!:banana:I have a feeling the girls are gonna LOVE it !!!
Sorry Christine OUR65th Celebration!!!:banana::banana:

Kona! Kona! Kona!  You know I love it.

Yay! You finally made it to One Man's Dream. I just love looking and reading at everything in there. I can't wait to see the new additions they've recently made to it!

Hey Tim, saw that the Yankees are heading over to my side of the world next weekend!!! want to make any predictions on who's gonna win :lmao:

Ok so I just spent a few mins trying to figure out what on earth the other people were doing in that ToT photo. It looks like they are making a triangle... I wonder what the meaning is for that. I take it they weren't a part of your group. LOL, sorry of all things I'm stuck on that, huh.

I REALLY need to make my way to Kona for breakfast. I'm torn - mac. nuts pancakes or the tonga toast. Perhaps I can persuade DF to give it a try this week since he'll have a few more days off. Then I'll tell him what to order so we can have the best of both worlds. :rotfl:

Sorry about the drama with the family concerning Ana's birthday. Sometimes you have to look at family like you do with friends - there are always different levels of friends you have, ones you'd trust with your life, etc. Sadly the same rule applies to family too. I hate to say it but the family I grew up loving and trusting was on my mother's side while the people on my father's side were just people who I shared some genes with.

Hoping you are enjoying some family time this weekend! We need an updated belly bump pic. ;)

Love the update! Sometimes going out in the rain is the greatest thing because people stay in. When we went in December the park was so crowded. All of a sudden the skies opened up and people fled the Magic Kingdom. We grabbed some ponchos from the gift shop and headed on over to splash mountain...(hey we were already wet!). Sounds like you all had a blast in the wet Disney weather!
If it were up to Melody, we wouldn't be out in the rain. But I will say she has been a trooper the last few times it rained on us in Disney. Thank goodness it was semi-warm. Being wet in the cold is horrible. ;)

Thanks for all the advice earlier. My friend is actually someone I work with, so we're all nurses and know better than to visit during work hours (I consider our floor to be a "dirty" floor with all the germs our patients bring in). We're just doing our best to keep our friend (the mom) sane and bring what ever joy we can to the little man while he is "in house." His ANC is down to zero now so I am pretty sure most visits by us are now ruled out. I'm sure he'll pull through this because if he's anything like his mom, he'll have a strong fighting spirit. Thanks again!
His ANC is zero? Wow....

One thing I forgot to tell you--- Mel always hated when people told her 'God wouldn't give you anything you couldn't handle.' For some reason she hated that.:confused3

Onto your TR, love the pics, even in the ponchos. I love that Juliana is striking a super cute head tilt pose in one of the photos. She's too funny.
She always knows when to pose... she is a total ham!

I must try the macadamia nut pancakes one of these days. Haven't had one since Hawaii and that picture really makes me want one now!
I got addicted to macadamia nuts when we went to Hawaii. We went to a nut farm and sampled about 100 different flavors. :goodvibes

Tim! I dont' know how I missed this but I'm finally here! Catching up and subbing. Better late than never right?:rolleyes1
:welcome: No problem.... with my slow updating, you'll be caught up in no time! :rotfl:

Dinner at Ohana and breakfast at Kona Cafe- sounds perfect to me. :rotfl:
What if I added in breakfast at 'Ohana too? :confused3 :lmao::lmao:

I can't believe that guy rammed your car. That's horrible.
The good thing was there was no damage and it wasn't MY car! :rotfl2:

DHS is a pretty good rainy day park. Did Juliana like the new Disney Junior show?
Yea she liked it.... she told me it was the same as the old show with Jake! :lmao:

Yummmm, Kona! Tonga Toast is probably one of the best things I've ever tasted in my life! The Kona pressed pot makes Chris' day when we're in WDW since all the other coffee there tastes so horrible
Kona coffee is the only coffee I drink... so I take full advantage while I am at Kona!

I could eat Tonga Toast every day!!!! (I'd probably be 800lbs if I did though ;))

The girls are so cute, decked out in their ponchos posing
Thanks!!!! They were having so much fun- even in the rain! :goodvibes

Smiley girl! So Cute. And is that a Dooney bag I spy on Mel lap? Nice!
See, I knew you would catch up! :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Yes, that is a D&B bag. I bought it for her for Christmas. ;)

IMAG0408.jpg

I love the HM!!!
It was funny to see it on there!

DSC01538.jpg

YAY FOR BABY BUMPS!!!
LOL... It is a bigger bump now!

DSC01554.jpg

Look at that little thing Work It!!! Too cute.
HA! She is really soooo silly!

IMAG0429.jpg

Has Yuki seen these yet?
Feel free to take this picture! :goodvibes

DSC01569.jpg

That is one happy camper!
Wouldn't you look like this after stepping into POP? :thumbsup2

Nice! I've never been leid on vacation before. :rotfl2:
:scared1: :rotfl2:

DSC01578.jpg

Kids are so cute!
Thanks!!!!

I don't blame the girls. I would have done the same thing.
They were trying to stay dry! ;)

Wow! Can you believe that guy. What a jerkface! :sad2:
YUP! That sums it up! :rotfl2:

Just getting all caught up! Kona looks so yummy...for my next trip which will be years from now I am putting it on my list:).
Mental notes.... that's what I do! Gives you something to think about when you get bored! :goodvibes

I also just wanted to comment on your extended family who was upset by limiting your princesses 2nd birthday guest list...we had a similar experience. A "friend" had come over with her two kids. Her oldest boy was not going to take off his shoes or wash and sanitize his hands for us. We told her they could not stay then. She felt she could not force him to do these things :confused3 so she pretty much got mad at us as she left and thought we were being "a bit over the top". I let her know I felt like trying to save my daughters life by not letting her get sicker then she already was from chemo was in no way over the top and that it might be a bit over the top to not feel like you can have your child remove their shoes or wash their hands. We are not "friends" anymore...and I don't worry a minute about it! I am so glad you did what was best for your beautiful daughter!
WOW! What nerve! I usually shy away from confrontations but Mel doesn't. The weird thing about our situation was we didn't know for months/year why they stopped talking to us. :confused3

As always loving your TR...it is so fun to get to experience your trip! Hope you have a great day!
Thanks for reading and stopping by!!!! :goodvibes

Slow updating???? That's the understatement of the month. The only one worse than you is Marv. :lmao::lmao::lmao:
HEY!!!!!! LOL

I've been so bad! I'm really trying. I have pictures to upload as well as PP pics too. UGH. Wanna write the rest of this report for me? :confused3
:rotfl2::rotfl2:

:rotfl2::rotfl2:

No, I don't love you that much to take on that daunting task. Make Ana could do it? ;)

Great update! Breakfast at Kona looks really good. I know we have to go there eventually. Just who knows when? It always seems so far away from wherever we're staying to get there for breakfast. I love the shot of the girls all walking into the Poly.
Who knows when???? How about this summer????? :confused3

You can goto MK then take the monorail/boat to the Poly. Very easy!!!!! ::yes::

I remember you posting the group pic on facebook saying ye were waiting for VOTLM and I was trying to figure out what you were waiting for never thought of The Little Mermaid :lmao:
LOL... now you know! That was a big topic of conversation on FB! :rotfl2::rotfl2:

I know, I know. Last year we were tired out by urchins. This year it is our breakfast on our departure day for Marco Island and it will NOT be changed.
popcorn::popcorn:: :rolleyes1:rolleyes1

Where do you think we get ours? Mark sells to dollar stores and he always brings a pile home before we go.
You probably get yours for less than a $1! :rotfl2:

Wish this was an evening I could read ALL the in-between, but this update just hit me at an incredibly busy time. Our dresses for the ball are still not done, and we have mere hours left now.
I hope you got everything done in time! (I'm sure you did!)

But I can tell you I absolutely loved logging on and having visions of mac. nut, pineapply good pancakes. YUM! Sho' loved those!
Aren't they great! I love those!!!

YOu should have asked the guy why he never learned to drive. :confused3 Seems like a good comeback to me....
I should of punched him in th..... that wouldn't of been very Disney-like. :sad2:

Great poncho pix! Gotta have at least a few of those in every trip!
You never know when it is gonna get ugly. ;)

I think we are reasonable people and if they couldn't understand what we were doing for the health of our child then- 'F'orget them!

I still haven't been able to eat at KONA's during breakfast, but I'll probably get a chance here soon...I hope.
I always suggest Kona to people- we love the food so much!!!!!

The girls did look cute! I hope the rest of your day goes great, with no rain and no one running you down with their car.
Thanks Millie!!! I think I made it through the rest of the day in tact!!! :lmao::lmao:

awwwww I know years from now I will be able to look back on these pictures and see how much she has grown. :lovestruc

I think I had to buy 1 Disney poncho once...... It hurt my wallet when I had to do it! That was an expensive piece of plastic! :lmao:

Kathy said it perfectly! I don't understand such people either.
Thanks Christine. :goodvibes

Um, Rosie, me thinks that would be OUR 65th?!
RUT ROH!!! I see you've made your traveling buddy mad Rosie! :lmao:

Tim, I'm glad you mentioned an 8:15 adr for Kona b/c I'd like to get there early, then take the water launch to the MK...reading that your drove reminded me we can grab a cab!
That isn't a bad idea.... you can make it to the Poly quickly. Probably for $10 or so.

Great update - love the pics!!!
Thanks!!!! :goodvibes

Kona! Kona! Kona!  You know I love it.
I know you do.... almost as much as I do!! :lmao:

Yay! You finally made it to One Man's Dream. I just love looking and reading at everything in there. I can't wait to see the new additions they've recently made to it!
I know. It has only taken us 7 trips to get in there. :rolleyes1

Hey Tim, saw that the Yankees are heading over to my side of the world next weekend!!! want to make any predictions on who's gonna win
Hummm... you wanna make a wager?:goodvibes

Ok so I just spent a few mins trying to figure out what on earth the other people were doing in that ToT photo. It looks like they are making a triangle... I wonder what the meaning is for that. I take it they weren't a part of your group. LOL, sorry of all things I'm stuck on that, huh.
I think there were a few frat boys on there with us throwing up signs. :lmao:

I REALLY need to make my way to Kona for breakfast. I'm torn - mac. nuts pancakes or the tonga toast. Perhaps I can persuade DF to give it a try this week since he'll have a few more days off. Then I'll tell him what to order so we can have the best of both worlds.
You have the life! You should go there for breakfast tomorrow morning! ::yes::

Sorry about the drama with the family concerning Ana's birthday. Sometimes you have to look at family like you do with friends - there are always different levels of friends you have, ones you'd trust with your life, etc. Sadly the same rule applies to family too. I hate to say it but the family I grew up loving and trusting was on my mother's side while the people on my father's side were just people who I shared some genes with.
I think you are right... Oh well. Honestly, it was no big loss for me.

Hoping you are enjoying some family time this weekend! We need an updated belly bump pic. ;)
I'll work on that pic for ya! ;)

Hummm... you wanna make a wager?:goodvibes

I'm sure you will have an advantage over me, since I really don't follow the game! my prediction though is Mariners take 2 out of the 3 games!!!

I just want to comment on your issues with family and friends when Ana was so sick.....I would of done the same thing as you, my dear friend who lost her little guy had the same issues the couple times he was home....if people don't understand why you are doing what you need to do to keep your children as healthy as can be, they are missing something in their common sense part of their brains!
unfortunately sickness and death (in our case with Curran and my Jim) brings out so much ugliness in people!
hold those close who support you NO MATTER WHAT!!! the rest are missing out on the wonderful part of being in your lives!!!
ok, off my soapbox....

hope you all had a great weekend and to see a current baby bump photo soon too!

I don't want to ruin it but the rain was movin on out! ;)

I wanted to take Juliana on ToT but Mel thought it would be too much for her.:confused3

:cool1::banana: Glad to hear the rain moved out!

The first time we took Jordan on TOT she was 4 1/2. We explained it to her and told her to close her eyes for anything that scared her or she didn't like. I think she closed her eyes through the whole pre-show and beginning of the ride that first time but loved the falling elevator! Every kid is different though - my niece probably won't be ready for TOT until she is at least 10!

I'm so happy to see another trip report from you! I've enjoyed reading all your reports and watching Juliana grow up through your trips to Disney:)

I'm glad to see the rain is letting up and I'm hoping you wont have much more of it throughout the trip. I'm at least hoping that the rain kept the crowds away. Can't wait to hear about the rest of the trip!
