So we decided to drive down on Saturday 9/10 and stay over night somewhere in Orlando before officially starting our trip at WDW 9/11. Since we are doing this then I am thinking that we could do a "welcome to WDW" breakfast at Chef Mickeys. What a better way to start out our first family WDW trip than with Mickey Mouse at an extremely Mickey themed restaurant. Since we are going to be adding this I need to change my Narcoosees dinner :sad1: to a 1TS meal or I would need to switch our Brown Derby F! package to Mama Melrose's (we are already eating at H&V for breakfast that morning). The other option is to cancel The Plaza on MNSSHP and just eat CS and snacks with the zillion snack credits we have. :lmao: Does anyone have any suggestions? (or critiques about my plan?) We are on the DxDP and are already scheduled to eat at...

Les Chef De France (Dinner)
CP (Breakfast)
Narcoosees (dinner)
Tusker House (breakfast)
The Plaza (Dinner MNSSHP)
Kona (Breakfast)
WCC (dinner)
H&V (breakfast)
Brown Derby F! package (dinner)
Akershus (breakfast)
Le Cellier (late lunch before departure)

TIA

If it were me, I'd cancel Plaza and opt for CS. We don't schedule a sit down meal during MNSSHP because the party goes by so fast for us anyway. The rest of the choices sound great and, at least for me, there's nothing better than starting my Disney dining at Chef Mickey's!

Thank you...that was my husband thought as well but i have to take what he says lightly cause IDK if he even knows where we're going :lmao:

I wonder if we will pass each other on the highway?? We are driving down Sept 10, and staying a hotel in Clermont that night, then off to WDW the 11th.

We are traveling from Indiana.

I have decided to wing it our first day, but after that the reservations start :). What a great idea to start your trip at Chef Mickey's!

This is our first trip as well!

I would keep the Plaza, it has been awhile but we really enjoyed it.
The food was delicious (for what it was) and the setting was delightful.
I would give up H & V. It is one of only 2 restaurants in all of WDW we will NEVER return to. The hot food was not hot, the cold food was not cold. Our waitress was RUDE ( only time in many WDW trips) and the Ladies Room was filthy.
We hated it and were sorry we went

Perhaps we will...we are taking 75 down since we don't have to worry about rush hour traffic. I think that as long as we leave at 5 we will miss the Saturday evening rush in Atlanta. I am a morning person so I don't mind leaving super early...I probably won't sleep the night before anyways :rotfl2:

The reason I am still doing H&V despite the consistent horrible reviews is because of the Disney Junior characters and to get the pre-RD ADR. Well more because of Oso...now that I think about it maybe it's not worth it. hmmmm  back to the drawing board on that one :surfweb:

You made some great dining choices!!

I wouldn't get rid of Narcossee's-:worship:almond crusted cheesecake Yum!!

I would do a CS before MNSSHP-party goes so fast and you want lot's of time for trick or treating

I would skip H & V -you can run into alot of those characters in the animation building I think?? And drive over to Cape May @ the Beach Club-great bfast with even greater character interaction. Plus kids get to draw on the tablecloth. :goodvibes
