we just went to Disney in April, we had the time of our lives! My kids are 5, 8, 9 and we stayed at Holiday Inn Family suites, The rates went off season April 29th amd the price was well worth the stay. kids eat free every mea as long as the parents buy lunch or dinner. Everyone eats a buffet breakfast that is great! For free! The rooms are suites designed for kids with vcr's, nintendos, a radio and theme designed room. we were one mile from Disney. The parks were great but we learned some helpful hints for next time. we brought frozen ice water in for the day and refilled at the bubblers. We could go home for lunch or stay and we opted to stay and leave early for dinner outside the park as it was much cheaper or we could go our hotel, have a bufffet supper for the cost of 2 adults only. we bought t-shirts outside the park for 3.99 at any T-shirt shop on the main drag. we stopped having our picture done at around the third park as you can only use so many family pictures at 12.95 each. Also the rides take your pictures on the rides and they end at a gift shop so i told my kids we would buy something at the end of the trip. One major purchase rather than 10 a day. The whole family of 5 cost us 4,000. we went to majic kingdom, universal, advernture island(best park) MGM and seaworld. The stay was only a week. leson One, fly over in the am and at night on the way home so you do not lose a day. lesson Two, allow yourself a few days of rest at your hotel. We were exhausted.
